My missus thinks I'm an old sadsack but I do like watching the curse of oak island. The narrator boy does do my head in though
Thought I was the only one who watched that show. Though they don’t half drag out series, about a quarter of each episode must be filler and re-caps.

Currently watching S1 of The Lincoln Lawyer on Netflix. I love Michael Patterson's novels (both Bosch and the Lincoln Lawyer series') and I'm enjoying this so far.

Decent storyline and I really like the guy who plays Haller.

I thought there was one of these threads for films/movies but couldn't find it. Watched Guardians of the Galaxy 3 yesterday, thought it was brilliant. Great story and not a bad performance in the film. They even managed to update the soundtrack from the 80s with the Flaming Lips making a notable audio appearance. Would recommend watching this, even if you're not a fan of Marvel films, this is good despite that.

Saw something on Facebook from the BBC today talking about a film from the 1980s called Threads, some of you on here will no doubt remember it. Meant to be very disturbing so I’ve went and found it on YouTube, will report back later on.

Scared the bejesus out of me as a kid. It's probably a load of tosh now mind you. Sheffield is probably scarier without the nukes

Wouldn’t say it’s disturbing thus far, reminds me of I Am Legend but with about 1/100th of the budget. Enjoying it though tbh.

I've started season 2. Ep 1 is as twee as it comes, but 2 is better.

It's enjoyable, but not as good as season 1, yet.

Just finished rosewood on Disney+ so Lincoln lawyer will be next, similar type of show.
There is no such thing as too much yarn, just not enough time.

Just finished the final season of Barry. Brilliant overall if you like a dark and often absurd comedy.

Final season did disappoint a little but Henry Winkler and the rest of the cast were superb throughout

Same here, add to that it's lady porn and the Mrs insists on watching it.

Finished Silo over the weekend, enjoyed that, started Hijack as well which isn’t bad either.

Started watching the Americans on Disney as well enjoyed the start of that so far
I'm really enjoying Hijack. It shows you how much binge watching stuff has become the norm these days as I'm finding it equal parts annoying and exciting that you have to wait a week for the next episode. Even worse are the members of the media who have got to binge watch it as part of their job and are gloating about it.

😂 I’m actually enjoying having something to look forward too and saver a wee bit, of course my mrs is hating the wait, it is good though I’m really enjoying it

Started watching Heat with Danny Dyer. The acting is so bad I'm hoping the fire gets them all in episode 2 and we can all call it a day.

Equally as bad as Blindspot from Channel 5 the previous week.

I’m very late to start this, but I’ve never had Disney+ before, just started watching Welcome to Wrexham. Really enjoying it, love the fact that it’s mainly about the community and the celebrities are a side story. Seems like they had their own Hands Off Hibs battle.

Yeah I was late to it too but really enjoyed it and I am gagging for the next season to start, which will include their promotion from the National League. Even if the Disney+ show stops I will be keeping an eye out for Wrexham results, I really hope they make it up the pyramid.
