Jenny Smith - Hearts to Celtic. Interesting move for her. Weakens hearts significantly but I'm not sure if she will stand out at Celtic.

Ailey Tebbett away. Not the biggest surprise, has had shocking luck with injuries in recent years
They've only gone and done it! They've only gone and won the Scottish Cup! What kept you, Hibs?!

Ellis has now hung up her teacher's gown and cap and went full time after already appearing 150 times!

Sarah Gibb goes to Well. That would have been worth a punt for me. Would also release notley to play CB.

    Fingers crossed.
Mature, sensible signature required for responsible position. Good prospects for the right candidate. Apply within.

I imagine it will depend if she wants to go back to work. Giving up a teaching job for a 20k a year football job never makes much sense to me.

Notley's just done exactly that, to the disappointment of my friend's son who loved her as a teacher.

They can always go back to teaching once their football careers are over, with the kudos of being an ex-professional footballer.

Yeah I think the pull of getting to continue your dream might mean career is put on hold for a while. I'm sure Hibs would accommodate a player of her quality however we could! Cause let's be honest, no disrespect to Spartans etc but she's far too good for them. She'd also played under Grant before and posted a much nicer message about Hibs on IG when she left 😂

Plus she already went to the Huns FT, if they were happy bencher her she probs wasn't a high earner

Yeh will depend what way she wants to go. Spartans will accommodate as they have done with a few players that should be playing higher up the league.

Lockwood signs for Hearts. That is really poor news for Hibs.

Yep, saw it earlier and raging about it.

Questions need asked here cause my first impression is we've really dropped the ball.

Essentially it seems all we achieved in the long term was scout a top player for them. Wait for Crystal Thomas to sign for them now to complete it!

Was it announced she was leaving before or after Scott took over? I think it was before but can't confirm

Girasoli signs for Hearts. She’s a top CB. And they are also going to sign a young midfielder from Aberdeen. Brodie greenwood.

I wonder if Hearts womens team have access to additional funds if they need it.
The signing of Lockwood gives them a very good signing and a classic one finger signal to Hibs.
Looks like Hibs have 5th sown up again.

P.S. Re Crystal Thomas, on wiki she is shown to have played only 82 senior games at the age of 29.
Is that right? Is she perma injured? If so they are welcome to her.

City sign Kenzie Weir. She is one of the Scotland u19 CBs. Daughter of Davie. A good player at the younger levels but I think she may struggle with senior players with pace.

The impression I'm getting is we simply dropped the ball and let her go when we shouldn't have, no one else has came for her so Hearts have seen an opportunity.

For Thomas, it's hard to say, you'll know yourself the record keeping for women's appearances online doesn't seem to be great. *Note she hasn't actually went there. Although I'm happy for them to sign Haaland 😂
