    2022-23 season non-Hibs games thread

His dad scored the winner in 2008

Barnsley we’re done by the officials today.

Stonewall penalty and never a red.

The best time to score in a big game. Sickener for Barnsley, the fourth minute of injury time in extra-time.

Wednesday certainly did it the hard way, losing the first leg of the play off semi-final 4-0. I'm happy for them, it's a big club that's had a terrible time.

    Nicky Cadden looked decent

Good engine got up and down the flanks, sent over a few dangerous crosses and had a ferocious shot on target before being hooked in extra time

    Just bizarre

Nice state they left the city centre in. Who thinks that's an OK way to behave? The entitlement that fans of the big two have is nauseating.

Was there anything even remotely like that in the wake of our Scottish Cup celebrations on the Sunday?

ICT have handed back a couple of thousand tickets for the final as they've sold just under 6k

Just shows you the challenges in running clubs that very few people have any interest in.

Fair play to them for reaching the final despite that, and in a shoestring budget compared to many who succumbed in earlier rounds.

On paper it's one of the most one - sided cup finals I can remember in recent times , has there been another one more one-sided in recent times btw ?. Looks like a 5 , 6 or 7 nil to me . I know Inverness aren't big though could this also have contributed to tickets sales too ?

That's a shame, it's a massive day for their club. That said, I'm guessing some ICT fans who aren't diehards fear a hammering and might think it's a waste of time going. That's in addition to an already small fanbase.

The fact that the SFA have completely ****ed up by moving the ko time to 5.15 hasn't helped them. No way if getting a train back to Inverness after ko. The football special that has been put on is about £70 return. This will have put off many "daytrippers". Real shame that the SFA once again are so short sighted and rolled over to suit tv and the English cup. And their excuse that it was to ensure a UK wide TV audience is BS. BBC have a gardening programme on at the same time I believe

It’s worse than the state they left it in. My mate has a business next to where a lot of those photos were taken. His dad (who also lives in that area) was helping him out on Saturday whilst he was out with his wife and daughter. Long story short, whilst his dad was putting his head out of the window to see how this might go on for as he was getting customers phoning to complain they couldn’t get close, he had a pyro of some sort fired up at him (deliberately) from one of these mutants. It luckily missed.

The doorways to both my mate’s office and the block of flats his parents live in were seas of piss after it.

Looking forward to the Europa League final tonight. Would love Jose’s Roma to win it for the first time on the back of last seasons Confrence league win.

Jose solidifying his legacy as one of the best ever if he wins this for Roma tonight. Should be a cracking game.

They probably will get pumped, KO time tells you all you need to know re ticket sales, well out of order.

Tremendous pass to set up Dybala for the goal, nice finish too.
