Next game up is this weekends derby at Easter Road.
It will very interesting to see how many supporters attend given they have to pay this time.
£10 for adults and £5 for all concessions.
All supporters are being housed in the West Lower.Last edited by PHeffernan; 20-04-2023 at 05:10 PM.

I'm at a gig in Glasgow though so that's one that won't be making it.

Only a couple of hundred sold I’m told. Not surprised at those prices. You can watch Chelsea women in the UWCL for £10 adult and £2 children. Scottish womens football really needs to rethink the strategy.

Think Hibs Women should target say 500 regular attendees - at whatever price point allows that - and look to grow naturally from there

Without much insight into woman’s football in Scotland, surely the move towards full professional outfits is bad for the game? The funding of the erse cheek woman’s team has shifted the balance and the scores show how uncompetitive it has all become.
Given the challenges of funding and lack of commitment from supporters of the woman’s game to pay a tenner to watch them, it seems likely the OF will continue to hoover up the talent and routinely take the European places.

The obvious observation is that unless tickets are free very few supporters will attend Hibs womens games.
When I watch Hibs Women on YouTube it sounds like there are no more than 200 folk at our home games.
Of those folk at least half attendees will be family and friends of the players from both teams along with their kids so very few folk without direct connections appear to be attending.Last edited by PHeffernan; 22-04-2023 at 01:00 PM.

They said the Huns have out £2.5m into their team, and in 5 years time they Glasgow City will be at a Spartans level, claim they have sustainability issues.
Surprising about the number of tickers sold. There were probs at least 1000 at ER last season for the paid game against Partick. Wonder if it being a Saturday night is an issue, given the more family-orientation the women's game has.

Ticket sales really poor for a live sky game. Not the best way to market the product and the clash with Hibs men’s game being away on same day?! Poor planning.
Is this not a capital cup clash? Doesn’t make sense.
Hibs should win this as Hearts have injuries.
Odd comment from Hibs coach saying playing at Easter Road is like a neutral venue - doesn’t make sense - plenty Hibs players played their loads.

No wonder Murray is questioning her booking, awful decision.,

Hearts have got too big for their boots this season and need to be brought down a few pegs. Hibs have the history and previous success.

Hearts head coach booted the ball in to the stand, should have been booked for it!

Does it cost a fair amount of money to have the led advertising on ? Would have thought there was chance there to get some cash given it was on TV ?
Do they use the big screens at the ladies games ?

I've not seen a lot of games this season but on the few occasions I have, like tonight, we've been poor.
It's not just the injuries or Gibson though. Only Parry and Lockwood of the new recruits look to be an upgrade on what we already had.Mature, sensible signature required for responsible position. Good prospects for the right candidate. Apply within.
