Please just stick him in the team instead of McKirdy. He cannot be worse.

He’s now scored a ridiculous amount of goals, he deserves at least a place in the main squad, if he is leaving or not.

That's really disappointing but not surprising considering he hasn't had a sniff of first team football here, even after banging goals in for fun and forwards being injured

With jair and Mckirdy and Henderson getting on the bench before him can’t blame the laddie no signing a contract.

If he’s leaving for Watford it won’t be because of a lack of first team opportunities. he’ll be further away from the first team down there than he is here.

Murray Aiken, captain of the U19 team is the player missing from todays squad.
Heard he was at Hull at the weekend. They tried to sign him in January and his contract is up at the end of this season.

Only if he was offered a new deal but can’t really blame the boy as never had a sniff of any game time with the first team.

Maybe he might have if he hadn’t indicated he was planning on leaving? Next season, a 17-18 year old talent, may just have been able to get a foot in the door. He’s very unlikely to get a sniff at Watford.

Nisbet, Kukharevych and Hoppe will all be gone in the summer and McKirdy is showing little so Laidlaw is in a position to get a run.
For me he is waiting to see what other offers he gets. Same for O'Connor and Aiken.

Laidlaw will be 19 during the next season. Wherever he ends up he needs to be playing adult football, probably on loan.

  27. #1286
Good result for the boys and disappointed if true about Laidlaw.

    Great result 👍🏻
and good to see them win their league.
But if the young guys don’t sign a contract, there is nothing hibs can do.
The european run definitely held back some of the guys going on loan, and also lifted the profile of some of our better players, who appear to have opted to go elsewhere.

Good result . Anyone know how the young guy McAllister is doing? , Didn't we not pay a decent fee for him as well?.
A bit on the game here .

Laidlaw and Josh surely get a seat on the bench on Sunday? Can't be any worse than Henderson and McKirdy 👍💚
