A horrendous goalkeeping error for one Celtic goal. Hibs keeper Haaland jumped but barely got off the ground, seemed to shrink and the ball went over her head.

Hibs into the top 6 split just ahead of 2 part time teams 2 points ahead of Motherwell and 1 ahead of Partick Thistle. Injuries to some of our better players appear to have hurt us.
Yep, hesitated when going and then was in the wrong shape to jump. Was terrible timing given we'd come close to scoring 3 times in as many mins just before, including a Celtic keeper error worse than Haaland's.

Any Hibs women likely to be called up for the forthcoming Scotland international against the Matildas in London?

Leah Eddie would be most likely but Losa's all over the place with squad picks and is not great for any consistency in bringing younger players in and giving them a chance. Michaela McAlonie should, but will probs be overlooked again. If fit, Rachael Boyle might have been in with a shout.

    So, short answer, probably not!

Although last squad had about 7 ex-Hibs players featuring.

Set pieces have been our achilles heel this season. Can't just blame the keeper, there was no co-ordination across the team on how to defend the corner, i.e. who was gonna commit to the clearance, they got in each other's way.

On the other hand, Haaland actually had a great game overall, made some class reaction saves with strong hands and read the game well. A better performance from the team than we've had in weeks, if we can play like that AND actually take some chances (don't know why Tweedie never came on...) we might actually have a chance in the Quarter Final against The Rangers on Sunday. If you don't know, the club's running a bus to that one.

Not just blaming her, but if she makes a move to come for it, then she needs to commit to it or stay on the line to begin with. She put herself in a position where she couldn't react.

I agree about set pieces, but that for me comes down to the coaching.

I'd like to know what the story is with Crystal Thomas as I rate her and she offers something the others don't, I assume she's injured but there has been zero comms from the club to that effect, and they've made announcements about other injuries.

Crystal Thomas suffered a concussion during the Derby , the club has said previously that the after effects have proved challenging. Hopefully she is back soon.

Hibernian Women are preparing for a third outing with Rangers this season as we travel to Cumbernauld on Sunday. The Scottish Cup Quarter-Final kicks off at 4pm at Broadwood Stadium.

The club are delighted to be providing the option for supporters to purchase a seat on our supporters bus, departing Easter Road Stadium on Sunday 19 March at 2pm.

Priced at £10 for adults and £5 for concessions (Under 16 / Over 65) this provides an opportunity for supporters to cheer on Hibs Women as they face Rangers in a massive Scottish Cup tie.

That’s a sore one and an indication of just how money is tilting things towards the usual suspects. All the more reason to get behind our team, they deserve our support.

    scores today

Partick Thistle 0 Rangers 5...no headbutts required
    Aberdeen 2 Hamilton 1
    Spartans 2 Motherwell 2
    Glasgow Women Dundee utd
Glasgow City 2 Celtic 4... surprised with this one, city keeper saved two penalties as well as other good saves so could have been a lot worse

Hibs v Hearts tomorrow night at ER but being live on sky will probably affect the attendance, Hibs presently sitting eleven points behind hearts...unheard of :(

It's not tomorrow, it's Saturday (22nd). But still in the evening.

Mature, sensible signature required for responsible position. Good prospects for the right candidate. Apply within.

The BBC had it listed today as kicking off at the same time as the Partick Huns game, which is really poor from them.

Can guarantee they wouldn't get it wrong if it was a men's game.

wonder why the two sides didn't play this weekend along with all the other teams

No mens games at Easter Road that weekend so the pitch doesn't get used twice in one weekend plus must have been an available slot in Sky's schedule.

    Glasgow City imploding

A 2-1 loss to Rangers tonight after losing to Celtic at the weekend.

City now only 2 points ahead of Celtic and 3 ahead of Rangers.

I really enjoyed watching that on the hibs tv youtube channel.

Support sounded well up for it.

    Second half was great.

Were we not much better a few years back? Team seems to get worse and worse under Gibson. Some of the stories about him are incredibly poor as well.

    yes

then the old firm started chucking £££'s at their women's sides, take them out of the equation and we're third

but it is unfortunate Glasgow's 4th side are battling with us for 5th

lets hope their 5th side doesn't challenge us as well next season

Seems to be we are going backwards every year under him. Not surprising

Yep, best I've seen from Nunn too. I wonder if she hasn't been fit most of the time and now we could see something from her. Be interesting to see next season

If you compare with Hearts this season, they are well coached (with the caveat that they are also quite dull to watch), we've scored more but conceded more too.

A good coach could make a difference in this league, for example I think the main criteria for the Rangers coach had to be someone who is staunch.

I've heard Gibson isn't the most popular with the squad.

Yeah same here. Won't go into details as I wouldn't throw the people who have told me things under the bus, but by all accounts there's quite a few he seems to have treated pretty appalingly.

The one that caught my eye big time was the two foreign lassies that left in Jan was it? Reports came out about him treating them poorly then him and his wife were very, very quick to tweet about it.
