Not watching the game tonight but the last few times I’ve seen City they’ve really huffed and puffed and never looked at all slick.

To be fair to them, they’ve still been finding ways to win.

2/1 City to win both halves, turned out to be fair value 🍺

Been all Heckingbottom the first half hour but it’s 1-0 Mowbray. Good finish.

United had a spell on top where they were playing some lovely stuff but they didn't score when on top and lost a goal when they didn't look to clever at the back.

    Great finish though.

    Quite an enjoyable game.

    MacAtee equalises for Sheff United.

First time I've seen him play, young player on loan from Man City - looks absolutely superb.

Southampton in big trouble, they are joint lowest scorers in the premier league yet Burnley have one of there players on loan who is there top scorer with 16 goals , hattrick tonight as well ( Nathan Tella )

It would be some kind of consolation prize for them.

I don’t know much about Portuguese football, but in the last couple of seasons Benfica,Sporting and Porto have all dominated games that I’ve watched against supposed bigger teams from bigger leagues across Europe. Benfica in particular looked fantastic last season. Just like ligue 1, it would be great if the league could hang onto their best players but unfortunately English clubs will be circling and if they don’t work out there, so what? They’ll just join 20 or 30 other punts that didn’t work out, on loan somewhere else to one of the other European top twenty clubs.

While I do agree with you. Are the likes of Porto and Benfica just as guilty in hoovering up talent from South America, which they sell for big profit? The fans in Argentina, Brazil etc probably feel the same about being raided by clubs higher up the food chain in Portugal.

I do agree with you though, always enjoyable seeing teams from the lesser lights give the big clubs a bloody nose. Like the Ajax team of a couple of years ago, wish those teams could get a season or two more before the team is broken up to see what they could achieve.

If you'd given them the choice at the start of the season they'd would have taken the league.
