I just want to highlight the amazing great escape in staying in the top division beating Glasgow Hawks through there to stay up...For a small club based around community they have done brilliantly.
    Assume your referring to Musselburgh
They were down and out a few weeks back but went on an amazing run to avoid relegation.
I used to go when my lad played for them, some great trips, especially Jed away. The locals didn’t take kindly to a home defeat
Hopefully I will get to a few games next season. Incredible how they have kept their top flight status

Can we just forget the Edinburgh game took place and not bother discussing it...? We were absolutely awful - even Mike Blair said exactly that!
absolutely a hammering and a half

I saw the Warriors game - absolutely horrendous weather once again at Scotstoun. They ground out a victory but an absolutely deserved one, its a pity that Ulster kicked that last minute penalty to secure a losing bonus point.

only just now noticed the table, pity

as expected the Welsh players and WRU have agreed on a couple of changes for now and any strike averted

Last weeks howking in Llanelli must have been too much for Mike Blair, he's elected to see the season out however.

I just turned on the England Wales match, terrible game according to the commentators 10-8 Wales but lots and lots of gaps in the crowd for such a big rivalry; Welsh fans unhappy?

I flicked over to see what the score was and the 5 mins I watched were absolutely woeful.

The Wales number 16 looks like someone that belongs on Clarksons farm than a professional athlete.

Wales were awful. Really poor. So many mistakes.

There’s lots of problems within welsh rugby at the moment. The way Welsh rugby is structured for international selection means that you have to play in wales for one of the 4 teams to be selected. You can only be selected from outside of wales if you have 60+ caps, which is where the money is.

Further to that, the WRU is a bit backwards in the way it allocates its funding. The majority of it goes to amateur clubs with the four franchises getting proportionally way less than they need to keep their Welsh talent in sales and therefor eligible for international selection.

The minor nations staged the supporting act today, roll on the main event tomorrow. I'm sure the France v Scotland clash will provide better entertainment.

some of that has been part of what the players are negotiating about, the 60+ caps rule is about to be dropped to 25 as part of this weeks agreement

I was aware of that but I was just really surprised that the fans would actually stay away as a result? I mean it’s ENGLAND ffs You could mostly just hear them singing about chariots on TV, in Cardiff, I would have been embarrassed if I’d have been Welsh.

Oh yeah should have mentioned that 😅

I managed to get the cup game in when i was home. Miss win, hibs win, scotland win..win two bottles of whisky and a box of space raiders in the raffle…can’t remember much after that 😅

Today is massive. I don't think we'll win but IF we do!!!

Imagine if we win... Murrayfield will be phenomenal for the Ireland game.

Come on Scotland, for once... bring it home.

Terrible start. Try conceded and a red card after 10 minutes.

Literally the first tackle of the game.

Red card France. I was screaming for that as soon as it happened. Cannot understand the reasoning of the ref trying not to give that.

I have no idea how he can say that's not dangerous. He's not in control at all of this game

I switched over after the red for Scotland, thought it was a sin bin at the most, ref has been shocking in this game, glad it's been evened up.

Gilchrists is a red all day. He doesn't try and wrap up and it's shoulder to head.

I suppose so, it was just one of those so early in the game, I thought a sin bin was enough but rugby do stick to the rules.

  29. #2368
That half was absolute chaos. We're down 22-7 but I feel we were the better side.

Their 2nd try came after the red and then a pick off.

We have had so many handling errors inside the French 10.

We're still in this but it'll need a bit of luck and an early try in the 2nd half.

    Let's see.

It's the rules and I see where you're coming from but we often moan about refs in football not acting "because it's early".

My issue is their red is worse, he smashes head to head and there's no way you can say its no dangerous... yet it evens it up at 14 v 14 and scotland get no advantage from that ridiculously dangerous play at all.

Yet the Georgian referee initially just said yellow.

Some of his calls have been utterly awful today - we're making mistakes, but the referee is very much in the French pocket.
Madness, as you know, is a lot like gravity. All it takes is a little push.
