A home tie against Celtic offers Hearts the best way to win the cup. Most of the time you have to beat one of the OF to win the cup, often both.

Hearts would much rather play Celtic at home rather than at Hampden.

Most on here writing the Yam off, but I would be careful doing this.
They will have a chance but remember Neilson bottles every game against Rangers or Celtic. The draw was very open and they could have got lucky and coasted to the final with one of game. Even IF they beat Celtic (they won’t) they will get Rangers at Hampden in semi or final and they don’t turn up for big games.

Celtic are streets ahead of Hearts. Comfortable progression for Celtic. Nightmare draw for the gimps.

Everton look like they’ve given up on this game. Plenty time left, but little effort being put in.

For anyone overseas, certainly in Canada, I see DAZN are carrying Burnley-Watford live tomorrow, looking forward to seeing Porto, in a very unfamiliar strip

I never cease to be amazed at how John McGlynn can conjure up attacking tough to beat teams from others cast offs and scraps... hes very underrated when you consider some managers that keep getting jobs with far less track record

Though the vast majority of hertz fans live in a fantasy world were they are a big team that gets 20,000 plus for home games in a stadium only holds 19, 852 and have the best manager since Alex Ferguson who's building them up to win the league in 2025 /26 and will believe they will win against Celtic too

Hertz probably have a better chance at home though it's very slim even with home advantage and I doubt any hertz fans would have wanted to get them at this stage . A Celtic team on form will easily dispatch them imo.
The bad news for Hearts is that they also need to go to Celtic Park 3 or 4 days before they play the Cup game.

Good old fashioned Scottish **** housery. He's pretty skilled at it - there's not many who would do it to Messi but Robertson did.The look on Messis face when Robertson patted him on the head in the game Liverpool beat Barcelona 4-0 was priceless

Didnt Robbie Klopp rotate his team in similar circumstances a couple of seasons ago stating players coming in have the quality to win. Then they got papped 🤣

Or did I imagine that ?

Got to love our Gorgie Chums saying only give Celtic one block of the Roseburn stand because they can. This and their violence/behaviour in and around the ground.

This will be the same fans that threw bottles at their own fans (Injuring a lady) a number of years back.

They still don’t get they to offer a minimum 20% to away fans in Scottish Cup

Almost - they need to offer up to 20% if the opponent can sell them and segregation allows it.

They claim 3676 as the Roseburn capacity.

Any attempt to give fewer than that to Celtc would force them to admit their stadium is actually quite small.

Its a real quandry for our pink chums..................................
