The nearest player to making the first team squad is definitely ethan laidlaw, he has stepped up his performances, his contract i believe is almost up.

Whats his playing style Scoopyboy, is he a young strong hold it up sort of forward or is he a penalty box poacher type who likes to get in and around the penalty box ?

I thought he was more a wide player, at least he was in the youth league games I watched.

Good all round player who has a great chance of making it. Very skillful, pace, can beat a player and can finish.

He was good last season but in the few times I've seen him this season he has kicked on.

Brooster sees a lot more of him than me and really likes him as a player.

Hopefully we get something sorted and he starts to get involved in the first team squad.

Can play anywhere across the front. Likes to drift wide left like Stokes but can play centre-forward. Seen him play wide midfield as well but definitely more effective in the final third.

Five goals and a few assists in his last three games. Physically he's improved, his attitude seems a lot better, and he's hitting form at a really useful time.
They've only gone and done it! They've only gone and won the Scottish Cup! What kept you, Hibs?!

I know he is a Hun but if you follow @rfcyouths on twitter or input rfcyouths.wordpress.com into google you will get great info on U18 games - although he concentrates mostly on their games he is excellent for keeping up to date with all current U18s fixtures/results & tables and he also has this info going back to 2008.

2pm at Gussie Park. It’s a shame the Rangers game was brought forward, as one or two could have had some extra minutes on Tuesday

Probably no chance that is on given weather unless artificial pitch even then may not be on

Even the astros can be frozen solid in this weather.

He's taller and stronger than Josh, has good pace and a brilliant finisher. Very talented footballer as well, lovely touch and skill. Don't think hes a million miles away.

    For the best.
Don't want them getting hurt needlessly.

Heard that Murray Aiken has been successful in his appeal against his red card vs Nantes so available for the tie vs Dortmund.

Can all these out of contract youth players sign pre-contract deal in January with other clubs?
