Apparently it's standard practice, if you use it upside down all the russian spies/Bozo's chums listening in fall out and she could then fire at them with that tank she comandeered for photos opportunities

She really is a contemptible individual. Playing to the racist base and trying to make that kind of language mainstream.

I remember a clip of Akala (rapper, author, poet, all round good guy) talking about the comments Katie Hopkins made about gun boats in the channel and how alien language like that seemed, and now we have an actual government minister using the same language. Just bizarre.

Deary me. The media have been absolutely full blown pr mode for the tories the last 7 days . Absolute ridiculous, this is basically the same cabinet rejigged that fd the country

    https://www.theguardian.com/politics...oters-new-poll

Rishi Sunak and the Conservatives have overturned Labour’s lead in terms of who voters trust most to manage the economy, a new poll for the Observer has revealed.

The new prime minister is currently drawing up tax rises and spending cuts designed to fill a £40bn fiscal hole left by Liz Truss’s disastrous time in Downing Street, with warnings that any significant attempt to cut Whitehall budgets will lead to huge pressure on public services. It comes with new analysis revealing that freezing public service spending would save £20bn but would also lead to a return to the austerity of the 2010s.

Tom Hunt. Rhyming slang. But this rhetoric appeals to the little englander including dickheads who firebombed the asylum centre in Kent today

Return. Has there been any respite on cutting spending? Seems like they are just continuing after the short break for Covid.

That sounded like a horrible incident, but hopefully just a lone nutter. Pales in comparison to what happened to migrants at the Spanish border:

Senior Home Office source says Home Sec refused to sign off on hotel bookings for migrants at Manston last week “because they were in Tory areas”

Got to keep the racist vote if they've got any chance of not being destroyed in next election I guess

Surely putting them in hotels in tory areas would strengthen the racist vote?

I've not watched this for years. If it's the same format, I suspect he will have huge support from the viewing public who actually waste money voting for people to eat live creatures and all the other really boring stuff. Not going to lie, will watch this year. Want to know why a member of the Royal Family needs this platform? (apologies realise my last point is for another thread)
