10k at the game which is very decent on a miserable night. Not much of a spectacle for them right enough. The Scotland women's team looks to have regressed since I last saw them play about 4 years ago when I was quite impressed by them.
4 years ago we had Kim Little who was one of the top players in the world. However the squad we have now is good and they weren’t as good tonight as they have been in the last few games. I do think there were maybe a few nerves but they defended the box well and limited Austria to only a couple of real chances. Worth remembering that Austria finished 2nd behind England in their Euros group in the summer so they’re a good side.

Thought Abi Harrison was great when she came on and made a big difference in getting us up the park

any idea which ones could be going where ?

i see Portugal beat Belgium to reach a play-off final

    Switzerland v Wales
    Scotland v ROI

are there another two sides in the play-offs ?
    Not really I'm afraid 😂

I only know about it cause Joel Sked discussed it on AVFTT last Friday. I would imagine the BBC website will have something up soon explaining what needs to happen.

Although I think it's probs a case of goal differences

Edit, BBC have put something up, and it's a lot more complicated 😂😂 But should Scotland win in normal time it might be fine 🤔

Thought Scotland maybe rode their luck a wee bit at times but it was always going to be a tough and close game against a country above them in the rankings. I thought their recent win over Ukraine was one of the best performances I've seen by any Scotland team.
I’m still surprised that the squad has hardly changed for years. The lack of a U23 squad really hinders progress imo.

Yeah Abi Harrison seems to be a newer addition, despitw first being capped 4 years ago, and she's 24 now.

Eddie and Muir looked like they were breaking into it but seem to have been forgotten about recently.

Seems unnecessarily confusing but if we're now up to 19 points, a bit unfair with an extra game, then we only need to beat Ireland (not on pens) to qualify. Could be completely wrong though!

It’s only the games on Tuesday that are added to the table. Last night doesn’t count towards it

76k at Wembley last night to see England's women beat the USA. Their game has taken off to a stunning extent.

Can't deny the numbers are impressive but any idea how much the tickets were? I know the whole point is to build up the women's game and get folk attending and involved, but still frustrating that the tickets are so much cheaper than the man's international games (if they were cheaper last night!)

    Frustrating in what way?

I had a look and ticket prices ranged from £5 (kids) to £40. Not exactly dirt cheap but then the genuine quality of football on show justifies the prices I'd say.

Euro champions v World Cup holders was always going to attract a bumper crowd, though a sell-out for a friendly is impressive.

    Massively impressive regardless of price.

Frustrating that seeing the men's national team is quite a bit more expensive.

Disappointing from the Ladies ,I feel they should have claimed at least a point today , against what was a poor Rangers team who will feel lucky to have escaped with 3 points

    Sky sports cup QF'S

    FT's
    Kilmarnock 0 Hibernian 8
Celtic 1 Spartans 1...Spartans win 4-2 on penalties
Glasgow woman 0 Glasgow city 9

    presently Rangers 1 Motherwell 0

    FT 5-0

i reckon it will be Hibs/Rangers & Spartans/Glasgow city, then again it might be Hibs/Spartans & Glasgow city/Rangers, or maybe... :)

It's shocking how little coverage there is from the BBC and football orgs for the games today

Nah. The cup is sponsored by Sky, who also didn't have any coverage of the cup

Just checked the ticket sales for the women's derby and most of the West Lower has gone with only a few single tickets and the end sections remaining.

Last time we played Hearts at Easter Road the West Upper was open and I'm just waiting for that to happen again.

Penalty missed, rebound bafflingly disallowed by the ref.

Nothing baffling about it. She couldn't be the next person to touch the ball after the miss. Correct decision unfortunately
