The only downside to watching Celtic getting horsed is the pleasure it gives the other bum cheek.

Modric could get a game for Hibs but not one for the future
He’s done very well in the Newell role.

Imagine the negativity if Hibs signed a 36 year old, few days from 37.
I don't know this is a whoosh moment from me but we signed 36 year old McGeady just this summer and the response was overwhelming positive...

Great goal. The control and speed of these guys is incredible. Why can't we do that? Silly question.

Haaland with a double again, will be interesting to see how many goals he ends the season with, got to imagine it will be over 30 at this rate

He’s on 12 now, could easily be 30 by the end of 2022 if he stays injury free

Edit World Cup probably scuppers that

He’ll already be well on the way to 30 by the World Cup.

Fitness permitting, he’ll get 50-60 IMO.

Sevilla a bit of a crisis club at this point, nice draw for City. There will be bigger tests.

For how good Celtic are it’s crazy how many levels madrid are ahead. Wonder if the sfa could’ve changed the old firm game right before European ties

  17. #5267
That was a good night's work, fingers crossed tomorrow night is just as enjoyable.

Real just moved up a couple of gears and that was it, no disappointment getting beat from this team, they are European champions after all.

Aye they're not playing the likes of Killie or Rangers now. Funny how a massive difference in finances can have that effect :)

Cue the usual “it’s due to the standard of football we come up against in Scotland” etc etc.

Weirdly for a 0-3 defeat they played well, especially first half. I’m not sure many teams could have kept pace with the Madrid team second half, just breathtaking football.

Thought Celtic were brilliant first half. Ancelotti showing why he's a world class manager though, only took him 15 minutes at half time to tweak a few things and dominate the rest of the game.

Modric makes the game look simple. Haaland & Mbappe also generational talents.

I thought Celtic were very good first half and were unlucky not be ahead. Second half Real put their foot on the gas and smoothly accelerated away like a Rolls Royce football team. It is always satisfying to see the Old Firm brought down a peg or two. Hopefully, the Rangers taste the same tomorrow.

He's something else, isn't he! He might be the difference for City in the CL this season.

I’m sure he has more goals at this age than Messi or Ronaldo did. If he stays fit and motivated it’s crazy to think we might be witnessing someone who will actually surpass their career goals!

Reminds me of the original Ronaldo before he did his knee.

I reckon Haaland will hit 50 comfortably and I wouldn’t be shocked in the slightest to see him get 60.
