Likewise ,as you say,the European Cup came a few seasons too late for us.
We certainly would have been top challengers for it.
It cannot be emphasised enough how good Hibs were in those post war years.
Ask the top English teams we hammered...and the Brazilians we taught !!

Our managers too ,Willie Mc Cartney and Hugh Shaw must have had more to them than their photos we see with them in their homburg hats and big overcoats !
