Yeah I think a different coach is needed.

Grant Scott back? Shelley Kerr if she's looking for to get back into the game?
    afraid so.

Chris Roberts then Grant both were better than where we are now.

Agreed. Kind of funny that the coaches we had were of a higher standard than now, considering how everything else around the team in terms of infrastructure, contracts etc. have all improved.

I think she is a school teacher so I imagine she will stick with whatever suits her work.
I believe in the past she's said she'd drop it if to go pro if that was possible. Going after her dream. Hopefully we can do enough to incentivise her to stay here.

Good news about Eilidh Adams signing too. Not a massive surprise of course, she might be a bigger Hibby than all of us!

Seeing on IG that Amy Muir and Emily Mutch are graduating from uni.

I wouldn't be surprised if Muir might had suitors. Unless they also plan to go into post-grad education for teaching etc.

20k a year is the contracts they are talking about (ball park). Not sure I’d give up a teaching role for that. But if you can do both then I’d stick with who allows that.

Where is the money coming for these contracts

Is that confirmed for Hibs (or as close as can be without an actual announcement)? They're pretty much going pro for a lot of the girls?

Teachers start at about what, just under 30k? You might get players who would be prepared to chance it for a couple seasons, especially if they have a profession like teaching in the bank to go back to. I also know part-time teachers though so both could be possible

It's the profit from the Martin Boyle sale, they realised it would only be wasted if spent on the men's team 😂😂😉😉

I did hear that Jenna Fife was on similar, at least when she first signed for them anyway

Yeh the idea of big money anywhere outside of top 3 Down south is nonsense. It’s a low level wage. Chasing the dream.

But then, does that mean we may soon get to a position to tempt some players back who left for pro football and may not be on much more?

For example, a player like Jamie-Lee Napier.

Ellis Notley clearly going down the road of teaching full time and playing for Hibs with her re-signing

    Wow. That's pretty big.

I'll take Jamie-Lee Napier, Abi Harrison, and I'll stick a tenner a week myself into contributing to Lizzie Arnott coming back east 😀😀😀😀

Hibs v Aberdeen at the Tony Macaroni about to start on recast

rangers v Glasgow city on BBC Alba, Glasgow on the verge of losing that streak of 14 years straight league championships

    1-0 Hibs 15 mins

30 mins, appalling attempt at a pass back by the hibs number 6(or 2 couldn't make it out) and it's 1-1

37 mins, hibs corner is tapped in and clearly over the line and the referee gives another corner, commentator questions the referees eye site, anyway...resulting 2nd corner and hibs score....nae luck referee 2-1

    They kept that quiet.

Don't think it was mentioned on our Women's Twitter account, only that it was on Recast.
Mature, sensible signature required for responsible position. Good prospects for the right candidate. Apply within.

And some of the worst goalkeeping you'll ever see.

I don't think she sees it early enough, for the 4th one she didn't get back into position in time.

Looked like a great game though, and great goals. Brilliant finish by Erin Cuthbert.

Dean Gibson has signed a two year extension.

His comments surely can only mean we'll be publicly announcing we've went pro?
