    Lol.

I know you won’t believe it but I have a more open mind than I had in 2014. Granted though I am probably as likely to change my mind as you are. I would like the case to be published so we can assess what the detailed plans are.
Aye, saw you post the same thing on another thread only a few days ago. I was just surprised to see you'd made your mind up "before" the detailed plans have been published. 😂

Simply what I said, illegal and unlawful are two different things. Holding a referendum may be unlawful but it can't be illegal because there is no legislation preventing it.

Yeah, but if the Scot gov does something unlawful it is immediately invalid and a complete waste of time and money.

Except legislation is in place, making it legal 😁

It's up to the UK government to prove it is unlawful.

I'm not. Having seen the evidence prior to 2014, but then thereafter(and there's lots of evidence), I see no reason to stay within the UK. My faith in my fellow Scots to run our country for the betterment of all, within the EU is stronger than ever.

I'm not the one saying I'm open minded on one thread, and then saying the case for the Union is "made", and the case for Independence is "exposed", although you're entirely entitled to do so.

I didn’t say the case for the union is made, I said ensuring the case is made. I accept that exposed was a bad choice of words.

As I have said before, I await the snp case and will review that and see if I feel it stacks up. Based on what I have seen to date though, I don’t think it does.

You're allowed a view, but stop pretending you're waiting with an open mind for the separatists to make their case!

This is going to be like the party thing. "I had nothing to do with spies, if I did they weren't Russian spies, if they were Russian spies they didn't have Kompromat on me, if they did have.. .." and on and on.

While everyone is focussed on Ukraine, Tories quietly drop plan to cap mp’s second jobs.

There should be an outcry on this. But as you say good time to bury this one. Next it will be police party investigations no doubt waiting for end of war celebrations to time the release.

First there'll be Jubilee union Jack waving with Boris de Pfeffel Johnson to the fore waving furiously, you won't see a proper investigation and report into Partygate this side of the next general election or a serious leadership clearout by the Nasties.

    You mean you want one!

An outcry is something that happens organically, they’re not arranged.

If enough people are outraged enough, you’ll get your outcry.

If most people don’t give a damn, you won’t.

Sadly we're living in an idiocracy where vast portions of the voting population are too stupid to realise what is being done to them.

Spot on, I know dozens of guys who'd rather watch Bargain hunt or some other pish than the news.

It was stupid anyway, of course MP's should be able to have second jobs.

Did they ever open an inquiry into MP's taking bribes from private companies attempting to influence the law?
