Rafa done a tremendous job at Everton, never in doubt 😂
What’s the general feeling towards Benitez from Liverpool supporters now after having worked at Everton?

Not sure how I would feel about Stubbs managing Hearts one day. It almost feels like Liverpool v Everton isn’t that big a rivalry? Liverpool are more interested in disliking United.

There’s rivalry and hatred, two completely different things.

Even if he does I can't see SM leaving to become assistant somewhere.

Maybe we'll get some loans from Everton. Cenk Tosun anyone?

You listened to the Stubbs interview too.
Geniunely no idea what you are talking about. Actually read that opinion from quite a few Everton fans online in last 24 hours and had a look into it. Its very true tbh.

They probably got it from Stubbs if that is what he said.

Rooney and lampard look to be the main contenders according to BBC for the Everton role.

Big Dunc and Rooney could be a decent pairing.

I reckon Rooney will get the Everton job as he's loved by their support and is doing pretty well at Derby under very tough circumstances.

    GGTTH
Wasnt loved by them when scoring for Man U against them

Sounds like it’s Lampard according to local gossip but Big Dunc an interim

Everton are a poisoned challis which few decent managers will touch with a barge pole.

I like Everton as a club but their current ownership model is an absolute disaster. Eight managers (including two caretakers) since 2016 says it all.

Managers have either been sacked or have walked.

Very bad time for Rooney to take over. He’d be wise to bide his time.

Strange interview with everyone's favourite, Kevin Thomson: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/60104756.

Confirms that he was interviewed for the Kilmarnock job and that, again, he dreams of being Sevco manager. Strange comment that "The harsh reality is I'm never going to be the Celtic manager, so the top for me would be the Rangers manager".

I think the harsh reality is you're unlikely to be either, Kev. But it's a slightly curious comment.

I found it hard to take Kevin Thomson seriously in. that interview when he kept referring to footy.

I keep expecting Everton to perk up and in truth they had the chances to beat Villa on Saturday despite being the inferior team.

Hope he accepts the harsh reality of never being the Hibs manager either.

Ranieri sacked by Watford apparently 😳

Looking for their 15th permanent manager since 2012-13, which is only three fewer than West Ham have had in their entire history.
