He surely won’t last much longer. A prehistoric approach to coaching and man management.

Good start for McInnes. A shoo in for promotion. Listened to sportsound yesterday and he's already targeted top 6 in the Premiership next season. That kind of thing boosts the whole club. Will be a similar appointment to Steve Clarke I reckon.

Great news! Should never have been appointed. Club needs a lot of work behind the scenes though

I don't think Rafa' personally signed him.

Everton substituted Coleman yesterday but Patterson didn’t get on so I expect he’ll be hoping that whoever takes over will want to play him.

To be fair they changed formation so it wasn’t like for like. Patterson will play. Talented Scot.

Everton should try and get Potter from Brighton.
Whoever they get will need time but the fans are the most intolerant in the league. Two defeats and the knives are out.

Everton are a club who have seriously lost there way.

This could be an opportunity for a good young British manager to come in and make a name for himself.

Any candidates that come to mind ?

Even if there are, they won't get the required time. The club appears to be in a right mess from top to bottom.

Everton are a poisoned challis which few decent managers will touch with a barge pole.

I like Everton as a club but their current ownership model is an absolute disaster. Eight managers (including two caretakers) since 2016 says it all.

Managers have either been sacked or have walked.

Roberto Martinez being tipped as new Everton manager.

Thhough Martinez would be looking for a bigger or more settled club than Everton if his aim is to return to club management.

Really surprised he would go back there. Saw Stubbs being really critical of Martinez time at Everton previously. Appreciate he wasnt hugely successful however thought the criticism was ott sounded personal

The board want him but I doubt the owners will agree, just as in the summer when the board made him their number one choice, the owners appointed Rafa.

Can’t see him wanting to move back into football in World Cup year, can you

Martinez is a good manager, but he simply cannot organise a defence at club level. His sides ship goals and his only good season at Everton was with Moyes defence.

Wonder if Martinez did get the job would he have taken Maloney as well if he hadn’t gone to Hibs

I reckon Rooney will get the Everton job as he's loved by their support and is doing pretty well at Derby under very tough circumstances.
