    I'd prefer Lenin to Lennon
I wouldn't be Russin to get him in either.

Announce Lennon and they will be sold out by Midday tomorrow
Are there 500 people refusing to attend the final unless Lennon is the manager?

Or do you think Lennon would receive them as comps as part of his remuneration package?
    Mon the Hibs.

It’s not something I remotely give a **** about, but the club will be mocked relentlessly and it will damage our chances of a 50/50 split in future games if we don’t sell out. There will be fans not going to this game who will be moaning at not getting a ticket if we reached the Scottish cup final, but they’ll only have themselves to blame. Not going to a final because you think we’ll get beat isn’t a position I can understand, most people thought we’d lose the semifinal against a better team and we won that. What I will say is having it the week before Christmas isn’t ideal.

    United we stand here....

I have a ticket and will be there, drive straight there and home again, unless it gets cancelled. I can understand why people are not wanting to travel on public transport and do all the usual cup final things. If you catch this latest variant next weekend you're all in the house til next year.
exactly. I’m coming over on the boat from belfast and I’m very wary.

in normal circumstances, Hibs in a cup final, a weekend in Glasgow just before Christmas with the potential of further celebrations in Edinburgh afterwards… I’d be all over it. As it is though I’m not even sure I’m gonna go to a pub before the game.

my parents are elderly and Christmases getting far too few and precious to miss one or put them in danger because of my own recklessness.

tbh I wouldn’t mind if the game got postponed and the decision got made for me.

If you can drive through then there’s more chance of you getting covid going to Sainsburys to buy your Christmas dinner than at the game. Obviously if you have to use public transport etc that risk changes.
I think people who are cautious about public transport have every right to be. I was going to buy my ticket last weekend, but Fri got a positive lateral flow followed by a positive PCR so now locked up until 20th.

Only time I've been out the house within the timescales I've been advised I likely contracted it was to travel to the office last Monday because my Internet went down in the house. No one else in the office but the bus too and from Glasgow was full of people who immediately took their masks off as soon as they got on. I'm certain that's where I caught it.

Yup, dont think we will have a better chance to beat Celtic than this game while there squad is depleted, went to the 3-0 Celtic final a few years back, we might of lost but i actually enjoyed the experience and the backing of our fans the whole game. Mon guys snap those tickets up, its a one off game, anything can happen.

What’s the point in adding tickets when it’s clear there isn’t the demand

How does a relatively simple process of attending the ticket office, giving your name and collecting your ticket take so long? Only about 12 in queue in front of me, queue not moved in ten minutes!

I’ve not got my tickets through the post yet. Just wondering when the right time to panic is?

Mad the outcry for the 50/50 split at the time and we are struggling to shift 500 tickets that’s left !

Anyone know if tickets can be collected prior to the game tomorrow?

The one per season ticket didn’t help, you’ve now got fans having to sit on there own, others who didn’t then get tickets for there kids who also would’ve went.

    Same here.

I can book an aeroplane, train, concert, hotel, restaurant voucher and have them in my inbox in 30 seconds. Anything except a ticket for a football match.

there was nothing mad about the outcry.

whether we sell them or not every club should be offered up to 50/50 to begin with.

    Nothing should change that principle.

When's a quiet time to go pick up tickets?

Any reason why they take so long to collect once at the ticket office?

Exactly. And in normal circumstances we would have sold the 50 percent share

I swapped west stand tickets for the South upper, and they've only just been added for resale.

Maybe a few people have done the same.

I am supposed to be travelling up on Friday stopping until Monday. My wife and I have arranged for respite care for the father in law while we are away. We were told today that the nursing home has a case of covid and we won’t know the extent until all the results are back.Having bought hospitality for the game I wouldn’t complain if there was a postponement.
