They have to replace the manager and backroom staff though. If they want anyone who's in a job, that will cost.
Sure, but if they go for van Bronckhorst, there won't be any compensation.

    Reported to be £4.5m compensation.

That will make a huge dent in their financial problem.

Are you gonna give it a rest with all these positive financial views of Der Hun?

You really are dampening the mood for everybody

And you can tell how much it hurts all the Old Huns by the way they have to continually pretend it's "55".

If only they hadn't walked away and allowed the business to liquidate.

Supposedly that is for Gerrard and all his team combined. Half what Celtic got for Rodgers.

Plugged half their budget hole, now they can bring in a lesser, but more staunch name who won’t be in the media demanding money to spend.

    The Board is probably delighted.

I have to say, the violent racist that is John Terry is a perfect fit for Sevco.

A whole catalogue of despicable behaviour over a long period of time.

    They deserve each other.

Saddest thing about it is that he actually has a full size cardboard cutout.
There is another grown man who has just dumped one(cardboard cut out) at the door of Ibrox. Strange people. Has anyone been in touch with SJM to tell him to show his new boss what a Scottish Cup winners medal looks like.

Why don’t they just hire another manager , call him Steven Gerrard and tell everyone it’s the same management team. They have used that before

I think the opposite. If he is critical of the standard up here then surely questions will be asked over his poor record (1 trophy in 9 hardly entitles him to be critical of the standard).

Callum Davidson has won more than him as a manager in a shorter period of time.
Davidson would be the sensible appointment for Rangers right now. Luckily they don't have any sense and will get some old hun.

Exactly the type of rabid right wing Tory bigot, still stuck in the 1970s, they would welcome with open arms.

If fat morelos is as good as the record says, surely Gerrard will move to secure the world's best striker.

    Oh wait.
He'd get knocked about by hairy-ersed Burnley defenders.

His first signing will surely be Nick Walsh.

Apparently Gerard was told that Ryan was going to have a word with him at Hampden so S#at himself and decided to get out of the country.
