NOT complaining but if the screens are the size of the girders do we not think they will be a tad small?
No, that’s actually pretty big I think. Photos just make it look small. Plus it’s the size of they gap we have got so not much else we can do.

I really hope Hibs do something above to close in the corners - would look so much better and enclosed.

It’s very minor but it’s a huge bug bear of mine - the edges of the pitch where it joins onto the astroturf is beyond scruffy, looks like they’ve been edged by Stevie Wonder and grass growing through the astroturf!

Could we also have white or green cladding on the insides of the stands instead of the minging Perspex, black or green goal nets, the walkways painted white and actually cut in properly as the current paint job in the East is shocking, and if we could get the turquoise seats changed out for a nice darker green that would be smashing, not asking for much I know, thanks in advance mate
I suggested to KP a few months back that we should look at introducing some different seat colours randomly dotted about. Could have different shades of green, purple, black, white or whatever. Some of the stadiums in the Euros had them and I think its a simple but pretty dramatic effect to tart up your ground.

Looking at the pics there, if the bottom of the screens sit at the top of the existing steel work, I’d say that would be pretty damn perfect.

Looks like it would be roughly in line with the top tiers in north and south.

Stick an advertising board above with flags on top and it will look sound.

Think there was a suggestion that would require planning permission

Not that that means it can’t/won’t be done I suppose but I don’t think we can just go ahead and do it!

    You think?

Hearts did similar replacing loads of their faded pink ones with newer maroon ones. Just looked like a cheap fix.

I much prefer solid blocks but ours are 20 years old and looking a bit crap now too. Replace with a nice dark green and paint all the steelwork the same.

Pah, build them and let the Jambo council jobsworths try and tell us to take them down.

Or just get planning permission I suppose, but where’s the fun in that?!

i don’t know mate, I think what you’ve just described of different coloured seats dotted about the place would look awful. All about opinions I suppose

Not adding anything to the conversation but I'm always blown away at how beautiful our stadium is.

Something like this perhaps: http://www.football-weekends.com/wp-...0453-kopie.jpg (Sporting's ground) – I assume the idea is that if the ground isn't full, the multicoloured seats make the gaps less obvious.

I don't think it looks good though.

For the SE corner at least that's maybe not the best idea as it might block off the sun especially in the winter meaning the pitch might be worse off

Pitch should be fine they’ve spent thousands on growlights

I think Brentford did this with their new stadium, looked pretty smart.

So they did, I like Windsor Park in Belfast, they've actually managed to blend blue and green. Looks very smart.

    again, all about opinions.

I live a few minutes walk away from Windsor Park and I think their seating colour scheme is absolutely rank.

the pictures posted above of our Easter road and those green seats are just beautiful as far as I’m concerned

I like the green seats at ER, but a bit of text in the East wouldn't go amiss.

For what it's worth, I think the seats at the Tokyo stadium are very well done.

No that's not what I meant at all. All seats should be replaced but instead of them all being green we have a few other colours dotted around. Nothing like hertz's patch up job. They ended up with different coloured seats by accident rather than design.

Unless they're Lego men the workies in the second picture give a good measure of how tall it'll be and the first picture gives an indication of width. It looks to me like it'll be a similar size to the one at Reading - which is plenty big enough - but it won't be quite as wide. I think I'd like to see it a bit higher though.

Easter road imo would look class if it had purple seats scattered around the ground.

Not for me. Hibernian are extremely proudly Green and White. Other than that we should also celebrate sky blue and white for our host country of Scotland. Purple's an elitist ruling dictator colour.
