A possible explanation as to how they're getting away with it.

That’s exactly how they are getting away with it. They’ll probably win another seat of Labour tonight.

It’s almost like they live the furthest away from Westminster.

I expected that kind of reply, what’s your excuse for our SNP MSP’s? The majority of them are at it as well. Didn’t wee nippy have to have a word with them a couple of years ago. All the parties are at it but you’d think the SNP mob were lily white reading the stuff on here.

    SNP mob?

Anyway, you're the one who brought it up - on a thread about the Tories.

Do you have evidence the majority are at it?

Seems a fairly serious allegation to bandy about.

So the record claim is over £250,000 while the second link has it at less than £100,000. At least one of them is telling porkies 😂

I noticed that the second link has the MP in the record article on £89,403 expense claims!!

It sounds like the new Health and Care bill will be presented to the Commons on Tuesday. At no point are the words ‘we are selling off the NHS’ going to be uttered, but watch this space. It all depends on how it’s reported, but if it’s widely apparent that a wee sneaky acceleration to the (already underway) sell off happens, at these times of all times, and they stick with a 1% pay rise, and the Tories poll ratings STILL stay high, everybody may as well pack up and let them get on with it.

On the plus side she’s not advocating for shooting at them before they arrive. Yet.

Nah not yet, she's just going to send them to "offshore immigration processing centres" in Rwanda.

There must be, but I can't name any, off the top of my head, just at this moment. Reeling off a dozen from the HoC, no problem, but who in The Other Place?

Is the state pension paid from income tax? I thought it was from the superannuation bit, like putting money into a savings account for a rainy day.

The triple lock was supposed to be legally binding until 2024.
