Phe release there weekly delta data dump transmission advantage down from 45% to 35% which is brill but we'll wait and see.
Cases now massively under 50 and in unvaccinated groups.
This includes people with severe and mild vulnerable list in one group, but the under 50s get huge protection.
2 doses stop 96% of cases and 99.97% of hospitalisations. Just need as many as possible to get vaccinated all over the world. Worried about uptake in under 30s but hopefully surprised. Almost 70% in Wales in 18-25 but slowing right down

If we can get back to having a high degree of normality I'm happy to accept mask wearing and some level of social distancing, or whatever is required. Although I'm fully vaxxed I'll not just acting on 9th August like the last year and a half didn't happen. I'll still see friends and family, go shopping and get to the football but don't see myself in a nightclub any time soon or heading into Xmas sales when it's rammed. Going to the cinema isn't really holding much appeal either. I'm also hoping home working is one of the few positives to come out of this as it's been a real plus for me.

Nothing to see here, it's his 'private business' after all.

Did they ever tinker with the levels to allow things like soft play to go ahead in level 2 areas?
There's hardly any difference in restrictions between L1 and L2 generally anyway so it seems additionally harsh on businesses/people stuck in that little area where they're not allowed to operate but could do so in L1 as we continue to "pause" the progress.
L2,1,0 should probably all be grouped together now as far as I can see.Mon the Hibs.

Another 3.5 weeks to go at least then.
Looked up the Saltire centre guy and it appears he decided not to open anyway as planned as couldn't get any guarantees it'd only be him punished and not his customers.
The rules are so similar across L0,1,2 that I imagine there's not a huge number in a similar boat to him but I thought they might have tried to tinker around to solve the high profile exceptions.Mon the Hibs.

Large reduction in cases in Edinburgh. I wonder if we're over the worst of the positive tests for those people who travelled to London, without seeing a similarly large increase in hospital admissions?

There was a 50% no show rate at one of the vaccination centres yesterday . With case numbers and isolation rising rapidly in the age groups due to be vaccinated theres bound to be a hit on the numbers vaccinated.

Sorry for the late reply (and thanks for your kind words :-) )...
I used to be fairly active and could walk for miles. Now I have a very limited capacity for walking and feel really tired after about 20-30 minutes (or quicker on a bad day), often with tingling sensations in my throat and chest.
I usually start off okay but quite quickly find my breathing is a bit of a strain, and my muscles start to ache. When I get home, I'm totally exhausted and sometimes have to sleep it off.
I don't actually have a 'life threatening' condition as such, but it does affect how I can live my life in quite a big way.

The numbers in hospital at the start of May were similar to the numbers we had in mid-September (around 60). Today we have 188 people in hospital, whereas at the start of November (roughly the same kind of gap) we had more than 1,200 people in hospital.
The increase in hospitalisations we have had over the last 7 weeks took us just 2 weeks to experience in September/October last year.
