Pat's cracking guy, I used to sit beside him and his lad, he fell in love with Hibs when his son wanted to go to football and he hated the toxic atmosphere at Celtic, his boyhood team. He brought him to ER and the rest is history as they say.

Can understand his rationale. I’ve felt we have always handled our Irish connections well and much better than Celtc. We recognise it’s part of our roots and proud of it but first and foremost, we are an Edinburgh and Scottish club and don’t play up to the worst excesses of Irish republicanism like them lot do.
