See Jason Naismith is a free agent now.

Liked him during his spell at Hibs before his injury. Not sure how much or well he played at County though.
I liked him, others definitely didn't.
Not sure where he fits in with McGinn,Cadden and Boyle.

Realise Boyle plays further up the pitch but has also played wingback at times.

Same, liked him. Both Naismith and McGinn can fill in at CB as well, though neithers preferred position.

Might just be a signing for the sake of signing though. I'd actually forgot all about Cadden. Be glad when he's back.

He doesn't fit in now, no way we are signing him imo

Sorry was trying to say that I don't think he'd be on our list of signings even although I liked him as a player,so totally agree.

I know it's the Record but McBurnie to Rangers?

Oli McBurnie linked with Rangers career reboot as Ibrox side 'pursue' Scotland cap in big-money transfer

No chance Rangers are going to spend £15m on a guy who doesn’t score goals. Even if they could afford it, they wouldn’t.

Forgot about it and switched on just after the hour mark just in time to see him being substituted by an English guy Rhys James. I can therefore tell you brussel sprout about his performance today!

They’d be better off re-signing Kyle Lafferty. Can’t see the Huns having the spending power to pay for Mc Burnie.

Also reckon Lafferty would score plenty more than McBurnie

That would be a superb signing for the rest of Scottish Football. He's ****ing useless.

Still had a very good season last year considering he's 38 in December, scoring 9 and assisting 9 in all comps.

Maybe a good fit for St Mirren with all the youth they seem to have in their squad. But can't see him keeping those figures going into next year

He has been remarkable in both fitness and performance at Killie but I can't help but feel that at 38 he will begin to tail off now.

Ex Hibs keeper Ross Laidlaw who was Ross County player and players player of the season has been rewarded with a new 2 year contract.
He did a decent job at Hibs when called upon and has managed to step it up and make the keepers spot his own at RC.
Hope Oli Shaw can make similar progress next season under a new manager.
The ex Hibs pair are 40% of the players currently contracted at RC for next season!

definitely thought laidlaw was a good keeper for us when he was needed, with rocky in the team at that point he was going to be hard pushed to be a permanent starter

Nothing against Oli Shaw or anyone else that once played for us but couldn't care less how they get on at Ross County

No, it was just tongue in cheek ragarding Aberdeen always chasing our targets

  26. #1405
Bold if Glass and Aberdeen focus on bringing in players from the US. I know they have the partnership, and you could generally say this about any transfer but it could come at a price, and no guarantee they'll settle over here - that Hernandez as a good example.

I take an interest in all things Scottish football and know some posters on here are interested how players that previously played for hibs are getting on so I, as others do, post information relevant to that when I come across it. I think one of the reasons folk are interested is because it's fun to see how our own assessment of an ex players ability and that of our club stacks up. In Hibs case they have been pretty on the ball with those they have let go.
Shaw happens to be the most recent player to leave Hibs where supporters opinions were split on whether it was the right decision and by watching his progress or otherwise we can see if we know our onions or not.

If you don't care that's fine. Seeing as you are sharing what you don't care about, I can tell you I don't care about the angry posters* who have been boring us to death for 6 days now. As everyone knows, if we weren't there it didn't happen, so it didn't happen and we move on. European draw in less than 3 weeks!

Valid post 👍🏻 I've always liked Oli Shaw and hoped we'd keep him. He did us no harm so hope his career blossoms.

    Kamberi however......🙂

Shaw had a good season this year. 8 goals in 31 games - his goals per minutes ratio continues to be up there with best records in the league. Also top 5 for goals per shots on target.

His numbers are good but similar to his time at Hibs he's not starting enough games. Is he generally under appreciated or would his stats suffer if he started 38 games????? That's the question which we'll probably never answer!
