Not sure I’d be keen on that
Has had a good season in France. As a 3rd striker I don't think it would be a terrible shout

I couldn't tell you the first thing about him to be brutally honest. Defensive midfielder?
Ivory Coast international centre forward. Scored 12 and assisted 3 in 34 appearances (16 starts) on loan at Toulouse last season in Ligue 2. Scored a goal or provided an assist every 120 minutes.

A guy at my work's best mate is a coach at Celtic, says we've expressed an interest in taking Bayo for next season.
I think he'd quickly get homesick. It says so in the song.
    Bayo, Bay-ay-ay-ay-o.
Bayo come and he wanna go home.......

I’d be surprised if it would be as a third striker but I’d be more open to that idea. His record in Scotland is terrible though.

He’s only played 365 minutes (2 starts) of football in Scotland - he has scored twice and got one assist. Are you thinking of the correct player?

Scored a double against Hearts, sign him up

Banderson suggesting we’ve knocked back Watford’s first bid for doig. He linked an article which said nothing about a bid though.

Deal worth up to £4m but looks like that was made up of add ons etc. Wouldn’t be surprised if we want more than whatever they’ve offered upfront

Tribunal isn’t the case as he’s under contract they would have to buy him. Tribunal only comes into play if clubs can’t agree on the development fee / compensation for an out of contract player whom the club offer a new deal on the same or improved terms as the original contract
Apologies, I didn't realise he had a pro contract. I assumed it would still be a youth contract, which can be signed but clubs can still take the players at will with compensation due.

Daily Record saying that Gardyne and Billy McKay are set to leave Ross County. Wouldn't touch Gardyne but looking at what we have now I wouldn't be overly against McKay coming in as a third choice striker to give us a bit of an option that we've lacked all season and someone who can rotate with the two we have especially since he carries a bit of a goal threat as well.

Good call for a wee look.
Has played 24 games this season which is his best total in his career to date so certainly not burnt out.

McKay is 33 in October and his goalscoring is tailing off so a couple of years too late to fit the bill for us.
However, I suspect he has already had a phone call from Tommy Wright.
He scored 20 goals in 34 appearances 3 seasons ago in the Championship and a cheeky wee link up with Lafferty might do the trick for them next season.

Gardyne has been a great servant for Ross County in his 2 spells at the club. Has played 350 games for them and always seemed to be giving his team everything he had in games but at 35 his career is probably over in the top league.

Definitely would like to look elsewhere first but not the worst type of player to bring in for 15 games a season etc. Think you might be right though as he could do well for a team looking to get promoted.

Think there’s definitely a deal to be done but think we’ll be looking for a big chunk of the money upfront

Motherwell sign Connor Shields from QOTS, could be a decent signing for them think the lads had a good season

His goal return wasn’t the best but think he’s a hard worker

    Still wouldn’t signing Devante Cole

Thanks for that, thought I was having to go a night without a match.

Bit of an interest now as well

Watford seem to be offering up a few of these kind of deals so far was the same with Ferguson at aberdeen and they offered 100k for a league 1 player early in the week which was heavily incentivised I can’t mind his name.

They are a stick on for relegation next season the money up front matters IMO even a good sell on clause the player value will drop significantly after relegation

Toulouse have an option to buy Bayo, would be surprised if they didn’t take that option.

Looks like Celtic paid in the region of 2m for him Not sure how much they would hope to recoup.

Aye perhaps. It’s a funny one because the quality of the championship was so poor this season so I’ve no idea how they’d get on in our league.

I reckon if shields was very good he would’ve had bigger suitors.

A good signing by Motherwell and a good step up for the player at the age of 24.
It will be interesting to see how he gets on.

Contracted to Celtic until summer 2022, also wouldn’t be surprised if Celtic have an option for another year which is common for them.

See Jason Naismith is a free agent now.

Liked him during his spell at Hibs before his injury. Not sure how much or well he played at County though.
