Just got my first one from BP M&S in Queensferry.
My initial thought is that what i got was very disappointing .
    Paid £4 and got....
6 Cumberland sausages with reduced price sticker of £1.89
1 Greek Yogurt with reduced price of 29p.
Small box of sushi reduced price of 65p.
1 chicken and bacon pasta salad reduced price of £1.41
1 Tomato salad reduced price of 80p.

Safe to say i wont be doing that again at the BP.

Some folk will be quite happy to get that from M&S, seems decent enough to me.

I know what you both mean!

In a way it is decent, on the flip side though if I went in to spend £4-5 In the bargain bucket I'm not sure how much of that I'd be picking myself.

Tried this for the first time today. Whelmed.

Cost 2.60. My Magic Bag was a croque monsieur, 2 pain au chocolat and an almond croissant, from a cafe attached to a hotel by a train station.

Decent value, similar to a supermarket 'reduced to clear' area. The key benefit is that cafes can reduce food waste in the same way.

    Pinkie Farm Shop, £4:

    bag of white tatties
    bag of spinach
    Pink wafer biscuits
couple of wee bits breaded fish
    6 apples
wee pack of topside beef slices
    chicken mini bites
Wee cheese pot noodle type thing

Not disastrous but a bit meh. Think the app is great though if it prevents waste and folk get a good wee haul out of it.

A roasted vegetable, tomato and basil sauce and goat cheese sandwich
    A roll

Had been keen to give this a try but whenever I looked it was only Greggs available and I wasn't too keen on them. I had been waiting for Dobbies to pop up for a while but they seemed hard to pin down.

I've just ordered one for tomorrow - how exciting!

They’re very good at quickly refunding stuff like that through the app TBF.

Ordered an M&S Easter bag for tonight. Doing a virtual whisky tasting first which will make it a decent night!

They've refunded me already, but they haven't explained why it happened. No apology either. All of which has wasted my time and discouraged me from using them again

To be fair that's not down to the app but the individual shop. It's the shop who send info to the app regarding availability, collection times etc.

I know but it's not worth the hassle or petrol . We're not that fussed for it.

Finally got that elusive Dobbies bag.

I'd say it was probably about what I expected from it - a lot of excitement about a mystery bag and what could be in there with the main value coming from pulling the items out one at a time in the kitchen.

There's a loaf of bread that I actually did want, some chicken goujons and garlic bread that have been put in the freezer for another day, a quiche that I'll eat during the football, some pears that I'll eat a couple of, a pack of creme brulee that I'll endevour to conjure up a lunch with some of it tomorrow.
    Mon the Hibs.

Got a bag from One Cannonmills yesterday.

Fried chicken and bacon with waffles
    Padron peppers
    Cheesecake
    Soup

£4. All freshly cooked for me picking it up. Superb. Although I’m not sure I can justify that for a lunch again

Just the type of food. I’m not sure my health would be up to much if I had fried chicken, bacon, waffles and cheesecake for lunch often
