If that happens, then Aberdeen will be in the Europa League playoff and Hibs will be in the Conference League with a couple (not sure how many) of knock out rounds to negotiate if we want to reach the group stage.

So if we finish 3rd we don’t automatically go into the Europa league competition.

I assumed we did, just thought we would just have a few very difficult play off games like what has happened in the past.
