I think Griffiths would be a great signing. He’s an excellent player, of course there is a risk that he doesn’t hit the heights he did previously, but the reward if he does makes it a chance worth taking.

He gives us something different to Doidge and Nisbet, and if he knew he was the main man for us, I’m certain that he’d deliver.

I get the point about looking for an up and coming player with sell on value, but i think you need a balance and off you can underpin the potential of some players with experience and quality of others (as Leigh would bring) then it’s a great mix.

It’s a big “yes” from me if we can do it.

Year 2 of contract triggered by starting 65% of league games in Year 1.

That makes sense.
The challenge is keeping him fit and getting him to the starting line every week.

A fit Leigh Griffiths would score goals for fun in this present Hibs team, I'd have him back in a heartbeat for next as I think we'll be even better.

Would definitely improve our squad so it’s a big yes from me.

I also think it’s a strong possibility he’ll be with us next season. Can’t see him going to another club in Scotland.
