Take out Gallagher for Forrest and that's the team.

Apparently UEFA are looking to increase squads to 25 or 26 players.

I think he might only take 3 strikers - only 1 will play. Maybe 1 less defender from that list and stick more midfielders in.

Is there any young goalies that could go to get some experience? The 3 obvious ones won’t be around forever - who’s next?

Doesn’t even play for his club side on a regular basis, but a big talent

If Griffiths plays between now and end of season replaces Mcburnie or Dykes

Don't think Hendry and Mckenna are guaranteed yet.

Kevin needs to keep scoring for us, made more positive runs into good positions than Dykes did last night.

A half fit disinterested Griffith is still far more likely to contribute imo than McBurnie

But if he can't get fit and isn't interested he shouldn't be anywhere near the squad. You've got to earn it.

Dykes will definitely go unless he gets an injury. Griffiths/Nisbet might push McBurnie out..

I think you have to take Turnbull. Give up someone like Forrest for him., or McBurnie. I would also like to see us break with convention and take two keepers (when is the third keeper ever used, realistically?) and use the extra place, but that won’t happen.

You have to be the best tool for the job and I use that word deliberately. His attitude might not be the best but he is much more effective than McBurnie imo and even if he is there to be used off the bench he would be a more than useful squad player

I can't see Clarke taking turnball now after not calling him up last week. Especially when we already have Armstrong and Christie, and he also likes to play McGinn further forward.

Forrest gives us the option of bringing him on at RWB if we are needing a goal, think he is better in that position than Fraser.

I’d actually have Gallagher promoted to the squad based on what I’ve seen from him for Scotland. But then he’ll need to be playing games again between now and June.

Yep. As much as I’d like to see a fit and sharp Griffiths there, there’s absolutely no chance he’ll get called up ahead of Dykes. And I’d be more than happy to see your second sentence, but can’t really see that either.

Winner of our group gets a last 16 tie at Wembley, instead of Dublin
We just need to go and beat England

I don't think this is the best Scotland squad of all time but I do have high hopes that we could finally break our Group Stage hoodoo. Two games at Hampden is massive! The Czech's and the Croat's are decent but at home I don't think we will loose either, win one and that could be enough for 2nd place.....worst case scenario it would be one of the best 3rd place finishers.
There is a bit of me though that has this wee inkling that we could scare the living daylights out of England....not the best squad but not that bad either, could be a classic.

Wales winning one game 2 nil in 2016 was enough to out them through in 3rd place. They then got a decent tie against N. Ireland in the last 16.
