How should we celebrate their relegation

Once it's finally confirmed that they're goners, should we all go outside at 7 minutes past 7pm and play Status Quo 'Down Down Deeper and Down' on our mobiles.
Sound is travelling really well due to the reduction in traffic these days, so it would be great to hear this song getting played throughout the city (and beyond) just to add to their relegation pain a wee bit more :-)

It now looks like there will be a vote on reconstruction so relegation (or not) will depend on that.

Aye. The likely vote on reconstruction has put a bit of a downer on today's news I think.

I think we should hold off any talk of this until it's been confirmed.

Interesting, where is that being reported?

I actually think its quite sad. There was an opportunity to make a permanent change to Scottish Football in terms of league size and competition but they blew it!

Self-interest, arrogance and ignorance, bigoted behaviour, back stabbing and utter incompetence by those leading change have messed it all up.

Is there really an opportunity though?

I would have thought, at very least, knowing the start and finishing dates of next season is a must before changing the number of teams and matches to be played.

With so many things up in the air, now is not the time to contemplate unnecessary change.

We've been here before and looked stupid (relegation derby at Tynecastle?)

Let's just wait and see what happens

I'm still clinging onto hope for normality to resume sooner rather than later.

I know its unnecessary but would be good for a radical shakedown - going forward - to make our league better.

That's from Saturday. Sun and Record saying today that reconstruction's not on the table at this morning's meeting. Just a rubber stamping of Celtic's title/Hearts relegation. Budge's latest whinging will be dealt with at a later date.

Hard to know what’s most appropriate in the circumstances: condescending sympathy, dignified silence or sly dig?

I think Leeann should call Ann Budge and ask her for advice. She says she’s always happy to answer the phone.

Was just pointing out to neil7908 that reconstruction was back on the table and that a vote on it was likely. Wasn't suggesting it would be taking place today.

Quiet satisfaction at some deserved medicine finally being dispensed, then as others have suggested turning our full focus towards helping Hibs build for as strong a season as possible.

It'll be a real tonic in these troubled times to contemplate playing in a league no longer polluted by Hearts' presence.

    They probably will.

Doesn't mean that they won't still try for league reconstruction though.
