Correct me if I’m wrong but Budge insists they spent big to avoid relegation. I suspect they spent big to buy success. It all depends on the way you spin it. Same result, alas, ............ gross failure.

One day we’ll have an unbiased group of people on this willing an able to say it as it is.Not just be a mouthpiece for certain clubs agendas.

Given what a mess Budge has made of things, it wouldn’t surprise if most of their squad have no relegation clauses at all.
Budge may well have the opposite problem - stuck paying the wages of a load of players she can’t get rid of.

Some spanner on Brokeback has just said that there`s more chance of Hibs going bust than us - "Ron wont pump money into Hibs, if anything, he`ll take out as much as her can"
Where do they find these fuds??

The editors and Editorial direction of Radio Scotland.
Now there’s something that has never had a light shone on it.
I’d imagine most Hibs fans and probably extending out to other clubs would have noticed a chance in Sportsound in recent years. More confrontational, controversial, stirring things up - Richard Gordon turned from mild mannered accountants to God knows what. Was it The Rangers going down wot done it?
Only a handful of folks seem to mention this."We know the people who have invested so far are simple fans." Vladimir Romanov - Scotsman 10th December 2012
"Romanov was like a breath of fresh air - laced with cyanide." Me.

Hearts outgoings are £1.4 million a month - £350k a week. Even with 20 donkeys on £6 a week, that’s £120k. Where does the other £230k go??? I know they do their own hospitality etc but £230k a week is a colossal figure.
Hibs are roughly £750k a month so £187k a week. A squad of 20 at around £3k a week average, so £60k. Obviously you have tax VAT etc, directors pay, East Mains and so On.
I know which club is better run form those basic sums.

Which is, as they say, pleasing.

God you are right.
All SPFL member clubs should vote to allow Budge to decide final league placings this season. As she says, she is not driven by self-interest at all and she just hates unfairness.
This will probably mean that Hearts will ‘finish’ somewhere in the top 3 - after all, she did spend a lot of money so deserves recognition for that. And Hibs will probably get relegated. But it’s a small price to pay to have this wonderful visionary businesswoman running our game.

Ben Garuccio (who?) confident Hearts could play themselves out of trouble (how?) and confirms he has every intention of seeing out his contract at Hearts next season (ha!)

Budge's "substantial investments to try to avoid relegation" in practice. Will be such a loss to the Premiership.

These people are not right in the head.....from over the road.
1 hour ago, Kiwidoug said:
In terms of clubs folding if this nightmare continues for months, there is a massively bigger chance of Hibs folding than us. Ron will cut his losses and piss off. Not a chance he will plough in money to save them. More likely he will take money out if he can.
We will struggle too. Every club will. We have FoH though and a history of banding together to save our club. Every chance that AB will come up with another loan as well to see us through.
When the chips are down, if they really do go down, we'll survive, they won't.
Additionally and at the risk of being morbid, a lot of owners are older and more vulnerable to covid19. Clubs who are quite reliant on one person may find it hard to survive if their owners are suddenly no longer around.

It's all explained now. Kiwidoug made the comments. He's called that not because he is in NZ but because he has the IQ of a small flightless bird!! He is the king of the deluded morons
