Hearts would be in a mess if they go down. A lot of players on big money

I would assume that there would normally be a Relegation Clause in all player contracts that allows the club to terminate the contract or reduce compensation. I would also assume that Hearts/ Dr Mrs Budge will be too incompetent to have inserted such a clause.

The seething businesswoman is also working out how to squeeze not one but two big screens into Tiny castle. She simply cannot be upstaged by Ron.

Current plan is to lash them to the pylons but they stick out too much and create yet more restricted view seats.

The dim one might have belatedly realised that self-designing a new main stand that was tethered to the other decrepit stands might have been a bad idea...

4 posters on here said they would rather see them stay up. So not too many.

We are likely to lose a cat A game this season as well because the selfish Jambos have marooned themselves to the foot of the table.

Any apologies from them though? Nah.
Yeah but it's away from home so they lose a fair amount of cash this season...

I just want us to win - preferably bigly - on Tuesday night.

Then I'll think a bit more deeply about it. My heart says yes, my head is a bit concerned about lost revenue.

They will but it will not make up for the shortfall. Even if Utd brought 1500 fans over two games you will have 3000 tickets at normal pricing. Hospitality will be nowhere near sold out and it would be highly unlikely the game would be on tv so no extra income there. Plus the home end would not sell out.

Two sold out matches and hospitality at cat A prices. Both games live on TV. Increase revenue from advertising etc. You do the maths.
Given the points we generallly drop to Hearts, then a higher league place makes a a difference

Jambos Kickback brushing our humping tonight off as “it’s just ICT”. The same ICT who will be knocking you out in the playoffs IF you have an incredible end to the season and avoids TWELFTH PLACE you losers. Bring on Tuesday. We are going to absolutely rag doll them.

DANIEL STENDEL has introduced GOGGLES and ROPE to training in a bid to improve his team’s defending.

The under-pressure*Hearts*coach ordered bewildered defenders to put on ski goggles at the Riccarton training base.

Hearts boss Daniel Stendel oversees training

They were told the drill would help their peripheral vision — as Stendel has raised concerns about a lack of awareness in his back line.

The struggling Jambos have shipped 13 goals in their last four Premiership games and 22 in his 11 league fixtures since the German’s arrival.

Stendel’s also managed just one victory — against Rangers — and suffered six defeats with fans now fearing relegation.

Rock-bottom Hearts are currently two points adrift of*Hamilton*and six behind*St Mirren.

It’s believed the former Barnsley coach provoked laughter among the squad when the goggles were produced for his idea of transforming his defence.

But he also set up another session where his back four were connected by rope to ensure they worked and moved together as a solid unit.

Stendel is prepared to consider anything which could possibly spark a Jambos side which hasn’t played for a fortnight following last week’s washout against St Mirren.

Rangers visit Tynecastle this evening with a place in the Scottish Cup semi-finals up for grabs while the Jambos return to league action in Tuesday’s Edinburgh derby.

SunSport*revealed this month that*tension was rising in the dressing room*concerning Stendel’s communication, tactics and man-management.

A number of players were quick to publicly defend him but others have been privately unhappy with his methods.

While league form has been dismal, Stendel has won both his Cup ties against Airdrie and Falkirk without conceding and another win over Steven Gerrard’s men would boost morale again.

But defeat, followed by a loss to*Hibs*at Easter Road, would increase pressure and scrutiny

Maybe their defenders will keep the rope on for Tuesday, to stop Boyle & Sparkie running right through them.

Rope is a very old school method for defenders. Shankley drilled his back four like that at Anfield for many a year.

I really can't decide if this guy is Mike Bassett, David Brent or the German Pep/Deutsche Dalry Lama (delete as appropriate). He's either a footballing genius/visionary or seven Steins of Becks short of being a completely bladdered half-wit.

Oh no. How will we ever overcome a group of s@@@ defenders tied together by some crazy German loser

I may have a wee bet on Tuesdays result

Kickback spewing at the number of times pundits referenced "fast flowing football" tonight, hopefully we see much more of it next week to tip them over the edge

Estimates on jkb that hearts have only shifted 3500 tickets for the home end tonight

They could have saved money by closing 2 stands

I remember when Celtic beat them 7-0 at Tynecastle in the Scottish Cup the total attendance was 10k with 3k Celtic fans. Think it'll be similar today.

    Big team.

More than enough to over subscribe if they were getting a similar allocation to what they give us.

Edit - just realised you were talking about tonight’s game and not derby. Oops

So Kev the Jambo at work mentioned yesterday that there is a really good chance the football season will be cancelled, with everything null and void because of the threat of the Coronavirus!

Budge has apparently been in touch with the SPFL raising her concerns!

Desperation of the highest level of true!
