Wonder if uefa will order their next game to be played behind closed doors? They have already had to close a section and not learnt anything.

Surely if they are being consistent they have to .But how many times can you fine a club and close sections of their stadium before realising a certain section of their fans will never stop this type of behaviour
What sanctions can they then impose for repeatedly breaking the same rule

Sooner or later, they'll just ban them from the competition... Hopefully!

Thats in UEFAs rules. Partial closures, closed doors, points deduction then out.

looks like they will make a pretty penny from their run too, to keep the afloat, a minimum of 20 million, plus sell one or two players will see them clear.

It’s his European runs and money generated that have kept him in a job His win ratio in the league is worse than other Rangers managers that lost their job
But at the start of every season he is under pressure to do it all again
He has also spent more money than other managers were given

At it again with the party songs last night.

Hopefully EUFA have taken note and will act upon it.
Shameful that once again, the TV & radio commentators turn a blind eye to it too. They should be highlighting it every single time the songs get sung, not praising them for being in fine voice FFS!!

The £11.4m quoted isn't what Rangers get. It's the total for all teams in the last 16 round. Celtic's elimination means that Rangers get the full Scottish quota rather than sharing it. While I don't know how the figure's calculated - I think it has something to do with tv audiences - the benefit to them's unlikely to be more than half a million.

European football is an absolutely critical income stream to them. In that respect, Gerrard is doing his job.

Beautiful thread over on 'Loyal-media' -

    http://forum.rangersmedia.co.uk/topic/326762-theres-no-recovering-from-this/

'Psychologically, that dressing room has a loser's mentality. The big players in the team continue to fail to turn up when the game turns into a battle. Gerrard continues to fail to turn up when the game turns into a battle, not having a clue how to change things or what to do. Technically there's absolutely no question these players are good enough but unfortunately mentally they're absolutely nowhere near it. Teams know they can get at us and our players go into their shells and stop taking responsibility and passing the buck on to others We're utterly ****ed and there's no chance we are stopping 10 next year, we simply do not have the budget to make wholesale changes to this team to find players who might not be as good but have the right attitude and mentality'

8 lovely, angst-filled pages in and there's still very few disagreeing with the OP - is this the start of their now-legendary 'Loyalty only happens when we're winning' tradition making it's regular appearance ?.. Gonna be interesting to see their season-ticket sales for 2020-21 as 10-iar becomes more and more inevitable !

Said the same thing on the other thread but I'm wondering if King being cold shouldered meant he had to step down in order for Sevco to get any Government sponsored financial help?

Government bail out loans have to come through banks. I doubt they want to get involved with Sevco for the same reason Hearts were knocked back.

Sounds like even Rangers aren't planning to shaft their staff, unlike some.

That reads like a 100% deferral? If so then it creates a new £8m debt for the new club.

Phil Mac inferred that government help could only be sought if all taxes were up to date and good. No idea myself if that's correct but it does give pause for thought.

Reading it back now I still can’t believe that pile of pish is still on their site. It’s comedy gold and the reason for its popularity can only be down to the number of non-hun visitors who drop by for a wee chuckle.

It could easily have been written by a hysterical ten year old.

Hibs fans acting like savages and some of the media trying to pin the blame on innocent hun supporters. Some game at Hampden apparently a few years back.

Just saw this on Twitter - Sevco statement “Rangers intends to implement the Coronavirus job retention scheme for a number of employees.” Let’s all sing “Furlough, furlough, we will furlough Rangers.”

I've been through the guidelines, and can't see any reference to it. That said, it would make sense.

Is Phil implying that TRFC aren't up to date with PAYE etc?

He was inviting the MSM to ask specific questions of Sevco, here is the link

As has been said before, I just can't see them being so disloyal as to fail to diligently pay their taxes to their Majesty's Revenue & Customs.

Your faith in your fellow man is admirable. As a reward, I'm willing to sell you some prime real estate on the Dava Moor at a really good price......

Wait a minute, are you telling me that the now defunct Glasgow rangers didn't pay their dues to, and therefore disrespected, their majesty that they constantly sing about?

I mean how the **** are they going to save the old girl if they're actually stealing her money?

If all that's true then the real estate deal's probably not for me.
