I guess that will depend upon how strongly worded the The's statement will be to the SFA/SPFL about getting behind the Scottish teams still in Europe for the benefit of the nation.

Why wouldn't they be able to play on the Saturday?

I'm assuming they'll fly home from Portugal on the Thursday morning and they'll back home by lunchtime. It's only a couple of hours in a plane from northern Portugal and they're even in the same timezone as the UK. There's plenty of time for them to get home and prepare for Hearts on the Saturday.

Not really relevant I don’t think, we still need to play on the Friday or Saturday irrespective of whether we’re on TV or not.

Playing on the Saturday comes down to the police allowing it. I know folk are saying it’s happened before but it’s rare. And don’t think it’ll have involved The Rangers being a visiting team as well.

Why can't Rangers and Hearts play at midday on Saturday and we can play in the evening? Similar to the kick off times for yesterday's games. Pain in the erse for ICT fans but that would apply to a Friday night games as well.

Wasn't there a big fuss about Hearts v Rangers and Celtic v Aberdeen playing on the same day with similar kick offs in Glasgow, which eventually got moved.

Inverness fans not getting thought about? Imagine the reaction if we were asked to go to Inverness/Ross county/Aberdeen on a Friday night? Bad enough the reaction about the potential to move the Aberdeen game to Saturday night.

It got moved to one game in glasgow and one game in edinburgh. It was originally supposed to be both played in glasgow.

That was a different scenario. Firstly you were talking about 100,000 supporters in the same city on the same day , it was a semi final so undoubtedly lots of alcohol consumed and the games were being played at the same ground.

Having Hibs v ICT and Hearts v Sevco on the same day in different parts of the city is much more easily managed.

With recent history between Hibs and Rangers as well as the rivalry between us and Hearts I just can't see both games being played on the same day. But we shall see.

No I got the flippantness in your post, I'm sure that's exactly what they'll come out with. I just don't think they'll have any grounds for complaining if they're asked to play Wednesday and Saturday.
