Where about did Stendel work with him?

The guy they have signed has had several disciplinary issues at previous clubs but he has scored goals while developing.

The constant theme about the new player is his own attitude - supposedly talented but whether or not he uses it is another question.

He could well score goals for them in the next few months - well be interesting to see. He did have previous fitness issues so I’m sure even if half fit and given a chance to score he may put them away at this level, but if they are going to continue to press high he will need to give more without the ball.

I thought they would have been thrashing themselves more about the German/Kosovan, but it seems quite muted compared to the anticipation before he arrived.

I listened to a United game on sportsound once – Derek Johnstone and Archie MacPhesron were commentating. Into the first half, Johnstone must’ve said about five times, ‘Nixon isn’t wearing his green socks today’ – eventually MacPherson asked him what he was on about. Johnstone says ‘In the dressing room hes known as Nixon of socks green’

Terrible.

But then, he goes quiet at half time and when he returns to the commentary, MacPherson asks him where hes been.
Johnstone says ‘I went to get a half time burger – when the girl came back she had the burger under her oxter – I asked her what she was doing and she said she was defrosting it’. Macpherson grunts – Johnstone ‘thank goodness I never ordered a hot dog’
