Too many set piece scenes for my liking. It's trying too hard to be stylish. Polly sitting in that car with the cigarette then tossing it away before stepping into the mud/s&it for example.

Arthur and Linda are an unnecessary diversion too, but I'm still enjoying the main storyline.
Thing is, they've been very good in previous seasons at throwing in twists etc and having big bangs in final episodes, it may be that Arthur and Linda are more relevant to the main story than what we know?

There was the whole 'traitor' thing in the first couple of episodes that hasn't been fully resolved yet as far as I'm aware. I'll be surprised if there isn't something more to come on that.

I've enjoyed it - really looking forward to the hun and the fascist leader getting their comeuppance as well

    Yeah fair points.

I just checked and, as I suspected, it's a new director for the current season. He seems to like setting his characters up in magazine style poses whether they're on their own or with others and it's that which irritates me.

I have enjoyed it otherwise though and I'm looking forward to the final episode. I don't want to give any spoilers, so suffice to say that I think that the plans for the guy from the asylum is a red herring, so maybe that's the twist.

I think this is the best series so far. I find the melt between fact, fiction and contemporary times has been cleverly built into the storyline.

Hmm not the twist or ending I was looking for. Enjoyed the series, actually enjoyed watching the final episode but just left not satisfied at where we've left it. Maybe just used to all the previous seasons ending with a big final episode with everything coming together and the Peaky boys winning.... but I waited a month to see the Billy boy and chief fascist get their paggering!! Obviously they are extending this war into the next season.... but we'll have to wait years to resume it!!

It just feels an episode short as it stands.

Hard to argue with any of that.

Criminal on Netflix is worth a watch.

Sitting there with about 10 minutes to go and thought another episode or 2 required.

Can just imagine Churchill popping into The Garrison for a night with the family

I was a wee bit disappointed with Peaky Blinders. I’ve always thought it’s been style over substance, none more so I’m this series. The last episode, apart from a certain cameo, was a let down.

I felt that was six episodes that could have been confessed into two.

Really enjoying The Capture so far, not sure what direction it's heading in yet.

I'm way behind with Peaky Blinders - I hadn't started watching it until last week, the first of two weeks annual leave I took from work. I'm just finishing up S3 right now - it really deserves every accolade it's received. It's so well written and produced, and the cast are incredible.

In two minds about whether to start watching Top Boy or Suits?

Both very highly rated on IMDB.

Top Boy is phenomenal. Best thing on TV since the Sorpanos for me.

Suits is great - gets a little repetitive in later years, but the characters are so damned good that I forgive them.

The series finale was aired last night and I watched it this morning - no problem admitting it hit me right in the feels.

Opted for Top Boy over Suits in the end. Due to everyone raving about it. It's been #1 most watched on UK Netflix since release.

Finished the 1st season earlier this evening and I’m hooked! It’s absolutely brilliant and no surprise about the hype surrounding it! About to binge the 2nd season with the Mrs very shortly, once she has finished watching her Eastenders 😒

I’m on the third episode now. Really enjoying it, but don’t think one episode is enough for each of the stories. The David Tennant one could have been a whole series on it’s own.

Also a bit miffed to now realise there are only 3 episodes.

There’s a couple of series listed on Netflix - what’s the order?

Watched this the other day - enjoyed it but thought the Tennant one was the best and as it was the first one it went downhill. Worth a watch.

Just started Mindhunter - we’ve done about 6 or 7 episodes and it’s pretty good.

I loved the first season of Mindhunter, haven’t watched the second one yet but looking at the trailer they are covering some high profile cases that I already know a bit about.

Hip Hop Evolution on Netflix is the one of the best music documentary series I’ve seen ..on series 3 now - well worth a watch - even if it is not your music genre ...

Temple on Sky One was pretty good for a bit of British TV drama.

OK it’s Mark Strong playing Mark Strong but none the less a pretty good yarn

I'm about half way through S4 of Peaky Blinders - Adrien Brody is absolutely scintillating as Luca Changretta. One of the better depictions of an Italian mafia don that I've seen on TV.
