The Sun linking McGinn with Man Utd for £50m!

Some sell on clause that would be!
I’m not sure I’ve ever heard so much rubbish but it would be incredible for us

Therein lies the reason for the sell on clause.

    Ker-****ing-ching.

Not convinced it’ll happen. But it’s the type of player they are looking at, like the boy they’ve just signed from Swansea.

£50m is probably the most unrealistic bit about the story.

Not so sure they have just spent the same on a pretty limited right back.

Always rated Forster. Brave as a lion and a likeable chap too. Wish him all the best.

    This for me!

Always gave 100% for the jersey

Better than some on here would have us think

Never afraid to attack the ball

Still a young player blighted by injury played through the Terry Butcher era
never really got a chance or the time to develop as he would have liked

I was sorry to see him go but there was no way he was displacing Hanlon or MacGregor anytime soon

I wish him all the best for the future

Ok - you are obviously a much better analsyt than me. What level did you play out of interest as you make a lot of posts and just interested to know your level of knowledge and where you got such such superior knowledge from for all of the posts you make . Not looking for an argument - just interested in your football background
I agree with MW in terms of his limitations, his assets imo are his power, presence and bravery , his awareness and pace let him down, suspect he will do well in the Championship. Based on your description of your capabilities, I am assuming you played Senior?

Wan Bissaka is not a limited right back. He's an outstanding player.

Seen him when Scotland under 21s played England 21s at Tynecastle last season and he was an absolute standout. Our Ryan Porteous played the same day and they were miles apart in terms of physicality, ball anticipation, positioning and athleticism. And that's not putting Porteuous down in anyway who is a great prospect but Wan Bisakka is a phenomenal talent.

Thing is if he was a brilliant defender who just cleared his lines it would be fine. He really isn't though and that's why he's not here anymore
Hes no here anymore because of the competition for the jersey, and his unnderstandable need for games.
He was unlucky with injuries but always a player I wanted to see in the team.

Good luck to him.maybe one day he will be back at easter road,if he shows his real A game, and we can afford him 😉

There was no competition for the jersey, he was miles behind Fonts, Hanlon and McGregor.

Man united wanted longstaff from Newcastle but were quoted 55 million so there might be some truth in this. Crazy stuff

By no means a rumour, but seen on twitter that Rangers look to be letting Ross McCrorie go out on loan this season. Anyone take him?

I don't have superior knowledge nor have I ever claimed to, I just have my opinion.

I don't need to have been a world class footballer to have opinions on them.

Im sure Gerrard was previously quoted saying he would go nowhere.

Unless they’ve got mixed up and it’s the brother who is a keeper that is allowed out on loan.

Absolutely, great player and a holding mid which we very much need. Hard to see Rangers doing business with us though

I don't agree with a lot of your posts but you're completely right here.

It's a football fans forum and everyone's opinion should have the same level of respect, having played football at a decent level or not doesn't really matter. Terry Butcher captained England but he was ****ing clueless.

I wish him well also as do most Genuine Hibs fans.
Me as well. Whatever Forster's limitations as a footballer there was no doubt about his commitment or his bravery … whose to say that he couldn't have improved as a player if he hadn't been absolutely cursed with injuries at a vital time in his career … good luck to him.

that pretty limited right back had some of the best stats in the EPL for a full back last season. 50m is crazy money but he is a highly talented player

Agree with you 100%, mind you the whole England team dominated us that night, but he has been a standout in the games I've seen him in down here as well. Ironically, the last fullback I felt this good about was Kenny Sansom, also playing for Palace, against Hibs in Feb 1978 and he went on and done not too bad for himself, but this lad is far more of an athlete with it.

There are better players we can spend £1 million on than McNulty...happy to have him back mate but he ain't worth that...no chance

There’s no way that we will spend a million quid on any player. There’s a wage structure at Hibs and million pound players wages( IMO) would be a heck of a lot more than what’s on offer within that structure. I really like McNulty, if he comes back to us I imagine it will be after he’s negotiated his release from Reading.

Of course he was. That's why he played over 50 1st team games by the age of 21. We all have different opinions of players but it's sometimes good to support them with facts.
