Then that is S****thorpe’s fault for making this into a saga.

If the player activated the clause before May 31st and then that’s him as a free agent on June 1st and from there he can start talking with other clubs and get a deal agreed. Don’t see anything Ojo or his agent done wrong there unless there is more to this story that he’s keeping quiet?
The Scunny chairman/owner Peter Swann is a total weapon and will undoubtedly be difficult to deal with. If he’s being silly I think the best thing Hibs can do is walk away and not answer the phone to him when he calls back

We were 2-1 down playing 3-5-2. We took Fontaine off and went to a back 4 and brought on Henderson 🏆
We were still by far the better team even though 2 1 down

Jordan Forster signed for Dundee . BBC Sport Scotland. Was always sorry we let him go. Very competitive player and good for a few goals
Could really only head and kick it and he wasn't even very good at that. Porteous is a much, much better player than Forster

Brilliant reply ! Love it . Somebody always finds a negative response to a positive post so good put down and just wishing Jordan well after serving us well .

“Could really only head and kick it”

Is that not what you are supposed to do with a football unless you are a GK? If a player couldn’t do the above then he shouldn’t really be a professional footballer.

I thought he was brilliant at attacking the ball hence original post and no worse at defending than Paul or Darren who ,like anybody, have their moments. Good luck to the lad

He was significantly worse than Paul or Darren. His positional sense and concentration were terrible which is why he never made it at Hibs.
Being a big lad and just throwing yourself at the ball is not defending. We already had James McPake doing that.

He did make at Hibs though but chose to move on as not an automatic starter. If I remember the season just gone correctly then Darren gave away a few daft penalties and a daft free kick against St Johnstone in November that they scored the winning goal from. Paul lost us the Aberdeen game with a bad pass that Gary Mckay Steven scored from. Not having a go at them and just saying I am pleased to see Jordan back in Scotland and I will monitor the Dundee reports just as I did with Fontaine going to Ross County. I appreciate players who got the whole Hibs thing

Agree. I don’t think he was as bad a player as 1-2 posters have suggested. Just that we had better defenders at the club in Hanlon, McGregor & Fontaine.

Hope he does well at Dundee

Think you both know what I meant. Just a big lad with no real technical ability. Even McGregor who is pretty old fashioned is a much better footballer than Forster.

Porteous made that pass, Hanlon didn't play that Aberdeen game.

You are correct MWHibbies - got the wrong game but he did make a bad pass in a game towards the end of the season which led to a goal. Also you said earlier that Porteous was a much better player but have just confirmed his mistake under no pressure to make the pass ! Sorry - just mischief making when trying to praise a former player who i liked and gave his all to us

Having played as a typical centre forward at a decent level for years i wanted the ball played to me as a target man all the time even though i had pace as well. My last couple of years I played centre half and just wanted to get the ball out of the danger zone and didnt want it at my feet and heading was my strong point. Just making the point that most defenders are simply that and unless you are a top class player then the important thing is to get the ball to a team mate that can do something creative

Thing is if he was a brilliant defender who just cleared his lines it would be fine. He really isn't though and that's why he's not here anymore

Quite telling than every Cheltenham fan I’ve seen on Twitter are glad to see the back of him

Said he should be less interested in trying to punt Herbalife and just concentrate on playing

    I liked him.

His biggest problem was his injury-proneness. Yes, he made the type of mistake folk are talking about here but he was a 19 year old who had just broken into the team - he was going to make mistakes. They become less with experience, and due to injuries he never really got that experience with us. By all accounts he's missed a lot of football at his next club so I doubt he's probably had that learning experience yet.

If he manages to stay injury free (and I've heard pretty bleak rumours about the likelihood of that ever happening) and gets lots of games, I think Dundee could have a cracking player on their hands.

I can’t imagine he was on a big whack at Cheltenham.

He probably needs gerbilife to supplement his income

I think you're underestimating Jordon. He broke through at 19 in a very poor team. His 1st game was the Ross Caldwell game at PBS but he really endeared himself to me in a shocking Hibs performance at ER versus Arabs. We lost 3 1 going on 10 & Jordon was our only player who could hold his head high after the game. He was one of our youngest players but he led by example & IIRC scored our goal. He suffered a serious injury in about his 3rd season with us & was never quite the same player after that.
At comparative ages he was certainly a better player than Darren M who was playing Junior football at 23 though Darren has of course matured nicely. I never saw Jordon give less than 100% for the jersey & I wish him well at Dundee.

He’s just went from Cheltenham from Dundee so I don’t think he’s been under estimated. Lived of that debut IMO.

Not sure how you're defining a big whack but he will have likely been on about 2 or 3 times the average wage of normal folk. He would have been paid more than enough money to get by without taking up a second job , especially one that he could easily take up once he finishes his playing career.

As a player though I liked him , if he was coming through in the current climate with Darren and Hanlon to learn from he would have been much better placed to have had a better career.

Ok - you are obviously a much better analsyt than me. What level did you play out of interest as you make a lot of posts and just interested to know your level of knowledge and where you got such such superior knowledge from for all of the posts you make . Not looking for an argument - just interested in your football background

He got the same info as I and a few others did, he jumped the gun and caused our CEO grief on twitter. Its all on the past but a few take great delight in bringing it up, nove on ffs.
Unfortunately some people just can't let it go, forever indulging themselves.

The Sun linking McGinn with Man Utd for £50m!

Some sell on clause that would be!
