Wow, I didn't know they were making a movie. There were always rumours it was going to happen but I hadn't realised that they had managed to do it. This has made my weekend!

Glad to have passed on the good news!

The link above (if it works) is a bit of a long read but gives background on why the show ended, how the movie finally came about and why this is definitely the end. David Milch has dementia sadly.

Really enjoyed Project Blue Book, dubious ending to the series though.

Halfway through ‘When They See Us’ really is very good with a great cast.

Black Monday on Sky Atlantic seem pretty good, first couple of episodes were great - very funny :)

Watched first 2 episodes. It’s very good. Watched a documentary on the case couple years ago ‘the Central Park 5’, also excellent

The final episode of The Virtues was quite a tough watch, Stephen Graham at his exceptional best though. 👏

Finished Chernobyl fantastic from beginning to end.

A perfectly paced denouement and incredibly harrowing yet justifiably so. The highest quality of TV drama - a proper ‘must watch’. I’ll shamelessly admit to being in bits at the end.

Highest rated TV series ever on IMDB!

There’s an official HBO Chernobyl podcast going through each episode with the creator of the show, Craig Mazin. Great listening content for the commutes to work each morning.

Niamh Algar was good in it, she was good in Mother Father Son too.

    Yep really enjoying it.

It's one of those shows that works because it's set in a future that is relatable. There are a few new gadgets and whatever but the general feel is still quite current and a lot of the societal changes are obviously based on issues that are taking root now.

Just watched the last episode of The Virtues. Amazing TV, the last half hour was unbelievably intense; in the wrong hands it could have seemed contrived but they nailed it. The soundtrack by PJ Harvey was perfect as well. The scene in the hospital with the quiet statement of 'I was raped' was harrowing in it's simplicity. Dinahs Mum was, for me, the most despicable character of the lot. One of those people so blinded by their own ideals of personal morality and their belief that that is their source of Catholic identity that they miss the fundamental message staring them in the face.

I'm wary I'm potentially posting spoilers but I'm glad there wasn't a flowery ending full of promise and redemption. It was every bit as bleak as what had gone before.

Watched 2 of the 3 episodes of the new series of Black Mirror (Miley Cyrus & VR) and been disappointed by them. Still better than most of the guff out there, and while they’re done well, felt like they’re running out of ideas.

I binge watched second series of Killing Eve.

Was good but didn't feel as good as the first season for me.

Watched the other episode in the new series, the kidnapping one, and thought that was very good.
