thankfully nobody seriously hurt.
sydney have been playing in supposed ‘boutique’ stadiums around the city as their home ground is being rebuilt over next years .
that stadium they played in tonight reminds me of the hellhole that was Broomfield .
Grass banks so really compromised with safety when there’s a reasonable crowd .Last edited by Sproule Three; 02-03-2019 at 08:59 AM.

The barriers when the second goal went in looked like something from a Summer Fete
I hope the Steward is OK?
Many thanks for the Stadium update
Is it going to be a Super Stadium?

The new Sydney FC stadium has become a political hot potato .
Theres a suspicion it was given to governments developer mates .
Was ok imo . 44k capacity and only 35 years old.
Anyway there’s been a legal challenge and it’s still not knocked down - farcical really .
On a positive note the new Western Sydney Wanderers stadium opens next month .
30k capacity . Looks the business . Apparently super quick beer service too so looking forward to first Sydney derby .
Leeds United are the guest visitors for opening day in May
