Not necessarily, it’s not the team I’d go with but we could go with the following:-

    Bogdan

    Whittaker
    Efe
    Porteous
    Lewis

    Boyle
    Milligan
    Mallan
    Horgan

    Kamberi
    Maclaren

I realise the dangers of playing that formation and it could get over run in midfield however I think sometimes there’s a danger of over complicating things, for me there’s a lot to be said for just getting our best players in their best positions and trusting them to play well.

I think this may be his line up, playing a diamond in the middle with Milligan holding. He'll more than likely go with Whittaker but I really hope not as GMS will make him look even older than he really is, if Mavrias is up to speed I'd go for him but I can't see it.

Genuinely hope we don't go 3 at the back.

It played right in to Aberdeens hands in the last game. They play really narrow when defending and we don't have enough quality out wide with a 352.

I also hope MacLaren doesn't start. He was atrocious last week and arguably even worse when we played up there in April.

From this season, he's played 5 games - 2 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss, so probably more accurate to say we hardly ever lose where he plays.

16 wins in 31 appearances last season for Bartley as well. It's not a bad record, to be fair.
Not a bad record for a player who is normally called upon to play in our most difficult games.

McLaren is a cracking player when paired with Kamberi, although I agree he was poor last week.

I think it will be 3-5-2.

Assuming Gray and Hanlon are still out:

    Bogdan
    Efe McGregor Porteous
    Boyle......................Sevenson
    Mallan Milligan Slivka
    Flo JMac
    Mon the Hibs.

    fraser Murray for Horgan.

As as much as I’d like to see Murray given a chance, an away fixture at Pittodrie wouldn’t be my ideal choice for that chance. I also think there’s a player in Horgan. Saw a couple of decent runs from him against St. Johnston. If he can add something to the end of one of those runs, a pass, a shot at goal then we’ll have another player who our opposition fear. Give him and the other newbies time. Lenny needs to give them a run in the team if he can.

    He's a cracking poacher. He's not a good player.

Kamberi and Maclaren together are deadly. Apart, not so much.

I'd stick slivka or hyndman in for horgan, his decision making is brutal.

You know what, I’ll retract my ‘gash’ comment about Maclaren because what you’ve put there is exactly right and more accurate.

If we lose tonight it will be the first time we have been in the bottom 6 since we got promoted back to the premiership.

We've been seriously unlucky with injuries this season
Gray and Hanlon have been out injured for periods in the last couple of seasons sonin dome respects it's not that much of a surprise What is unfortunate is that it has happened early in the Season
The young winger also has a history of injury so again there was always the risk he may get injured But it was at a point where he was starting to showbus what he can do
Hyndman added to the list is unfortunate
Given we haven't beaten the Dons at twp
Attempts this Season despite being the better team , tonight is a Big test as we don't want them going a i e us going into the break

I like that team as well but I bet its nothing like the actual line up.

Please Mr Lennon, just play the players in their correct positions!

    That's a tough shift for Boyle :)
    Made a mess of that

    Kamberi obviously upfront instead!
