I have met Derek several times as he frequents a local gastro-pub in Totteridge where we both live. He's a man-mountain of a man, yet he's as soft as nails. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I could have went tonight - I could also have watched it in the presence of Finchley Boxing Club who have taken over my local boozer for the evening. I planned to watch it in my local, but there were a number of meat-heads in their party and I left after the opening fight on the undercard.
Chisora has looked after his £££ well and lives in a wonderful abode that is worth upwards of £5M - fair play to whatever he does next.

Disappointed Parker didn’t get into it until the end. What could’ve been. Ended up being so close on points that the head clash knockdown was pretty much what decided it.
Long way back for Parker now.

Aberdeen Assasin Lee McAllister beat Mike Tyson conquerer Danny Williams last night. What’s the big deal? McAllister is a lightweight/welterweight. He put Williams down 5 times before the towel was thrown in in the 10th. Bonkers!

I do agree that $50 is steep and I'm not sure I'd say it was 'worth it', even though both of the last two fights (which is all I cared about) were good. I just can't be bothered with unreliable streams so tend to shell out if I really want to see something now. And I split the cost with a mate too so wasn't so bad in that sense.
Only good thing about Parker's defeat is that his next fight will surely be cheaper!

Looking forward to seeing Fury again tonight, hopefully he kicks on from the comeback fight.
It's all about rounds in the bank and if he can get back to 90% of where he was at the time of the Klitschko fight then he beats Wilder.PM Awards General Poster of The Year 2015, 2016, 2017. Probably robbed in other years

I can't stand these cannon fodder fights, he'd get better rounds in the bank with a half decent sparring partner.

The more top heacyweights competing the better imo and a fit, focussed Fury falls into that bracket.PM Awards General Poster of The Year 2015, 2016, 2017. Probably robbed in other years

I'm not an officiado on boxing, but really after watching the Fury fight, I've got to ask if the pantomime season has arrived early this year?🙄
