In a way after the superbowl I'm glad Shanahan went to SF and not Denver. Some of that playcalling in the 4th was shocking. When they were in FG range with the ball they should have just ran it a few times and run the clock down or force NE to use timeouts, them kick a FG from a good distance. Instead they tried to pass it twice lost a ton of yardage that put them out of FG range and didn't get much time off the clock.

The Patriots really should have two championships taken off them. Atlanta and Seattle may as well have handed two of those rings right over. And that's before we talk about the tuck rule season.
Luckiest sporting franchise ever

This is the worst week of the year, because we're the furthest Sunday away from any NFL football.
Still, Spring Training is merely days away!Madness, as you know, is a lot like gravity. All it takes is a little push.

From us uncut
Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and head coach Bill Belichick are notoriously friendly with Donald Trump, with Brady throwing his support behind the billionaire real estate mogul early on in the Republican primary, and Belichick even writing a letter of support to Trump prior to Election Day. Nazi ****lord Richard Spencer also announced his support for New England during the Super Bowl, citing Brady and Belichick’s affinity for Trump and the whiteness of the Patriots’ roster.
Chris Long announces he's boycotting white house visit..

The GOAT loves the goat. To be fair, I'm sure the Pats have as representative a cross section of opinion as any sports franchise. Six players including Long aren't going to the white house. But it's good to fish

My point was/is why bring politics to this thread?
We're here to talk football, not politics. Save that for the holy ground.Last edited by Haymaker; 11-02-2017 at 10:58 PM.

Besides, the Chargers won't train on the actual field, and look at Wembley - they manage to keep that looking pristine during the busy period when both England and the NFL are being played on it.Madness, as you know, is a lot like gravity. All it takes is a little push.

he's a Patriots player, hence its relevant. Report the posts and see what the mods think if it really bothers you.

There are precedents for pitch damage at the StubHub and the grass has been replaced often. It won't be for long though and hopefully we will get some stadium upgrades to match the new facilities at LAFC's coming up next season.

I think the Chargers are trying to give San Diego diehards an easier journey. In rush hour it would take a lot longer to drive to Pasadena than Carson.
Plus the LA Galaxy Champion's Lounge and American Express Lounge are superb for hospitality. The catering is top notch and provided by the same group that does the Lexus Club and San Manuel Club at the Staples Center.

Just watched "Invincible" with Mark Wahlberg about the true story of Vince Papale. They probably still do tryouts at NFL teams and there are a few near you. Imagine being the first Hibby to win the Super Bowl.
