SD: This is not a situation where Mr King is being buttonholed as he gets in a car. This is an interview he arranged [with Sky].

Counsel for SD tells court "this was an interview he arranged, the injunction meant he could not comment at all"

"I cannot remember the exact words attributed to me," King statement reads. Judge asks SD to prove the words were his.

Judge: King has pointed out correctly words attributed in article don't appear in interview. You have to persuade me journalist is accurate.

Judge: Just because journalists say something, it isn't always true. In football world, it's amazing how much is attributed to people.

SD: Point I'm making is totally implausible journalist would have made up 15 lines of very detailed reported speech from King.

Judge asking if Mr King and the journalist had a nice lunch and if any of the 32,000 bottles of wine... tails off.

Judge: This would all be resolved by you putting Mr King in the box, whites of the eyes, and ask if what the journalist said was true.

Safe to say Ashley want be using this Lawyer again.
His lawyer had a shocker. He could have proved harm by king questioning at all whether the deal is a good one. The fans must back the deal.
