Finished Season 2 of True Detective and had mixed feelings about it. Episodes 1-3 were fairly poor I thought, but 4 was a belter and it held up well from there with some great scenes. Was disappointed with the ending though.
Two episodes in to Season 2 of Murder In The First and it's been really good. Quite different to Season 1 so far in many ways, so will be interesting to see how it plays out.

I was a huge fan of the original Heroes series and I'm definitely looking forward to Heroes Reborn (though an air-date/broadcaster in the UK is still no apparent, despite it premiering in the USA next month).
I've been more than a little irritated that all of the pre-amble for it has been exclusive to a USA audience - is it any wonder that piracy occurs when practice like this still takes place?
Anyway, there was a mini-series constructed as a link between the end of Heroes S4 and the introduction of Heroes Reborn, which up until now was only available on a downloadable app from the US app store. They've now made their way onto Youtube but you'll still require a VPN to watch them - It's called 'Dark Matters':

Can't find it on any of my tv's. Got virgin x2 and freeview x1. The tv with thr freeview is crap though as for some reason it doesn't pick up half the channels it should. Can't get any of the +1 channels or any channel that's to do with channel 5.

It really drove home just how bad it was in Colombia at that time and just how big an operation he was running.
It's hard to comprehend the volumes of gear that were getting shifted but the $60,000,000 a day they were bringing in helps to bring it alive a bit.

Started Orphan Black a couple of nights ago - I'm told it's quite good but I wasn't exactly mesmerized with the pilot. Will probably persevere but I do want to watch Narcos as it's getting a great write-up from a lot of places!
