I know 24 hours maybe seems a tad ridiculous but to my mind, Ronnie has only missed his last round pick - it seems unfair to me that he be penalised for being at the top of the draft and having 2 subsequent picks as had he been in the middle, the next person would have had 12 hours after him. It's 12 hours per pick, not per person to my mind.

Having said that, 24 hours shouldn't apply to the TWO picks either.

From memory it worked well last year. Think the problem is that once you let one person go over the 12 hours you've then gotta let everyone. Next year we hold everyone to the 12 hours, simple as that. Would even go one step further, none of this end of round stuff. Miss your pick and its the end of the draft before you get it. Simples :)

I do not have a problem with the 12 hour picks but when it falls between 2130 and 0930 it sucks, the 12 hours should be midnight to midday and midday to midnight

In theory it should be 12 hours per pick (so 24 hours at each end) but let's not forget that is supposed to be a time limit to keep things flowing. Ideally we should complete our picks as quickly as possible. If you're able to make one pick in 12 hours, it shouldn't be too hard to make another pick almost immediately. How much research are people doing?
