From memory, 2 poor crosses into the box, other than that, what did he do wrong today?

we are a defender's food and drink constantly running and passing sideways on the edge of the box. They love that and hate anyone running into them.

Rubbish result BUT good performance.
Should have had a draw but poor finishing cost us again.

We are never going to get anywhere offensively by relying on Stevenson to supply width his crossing and distribution is worse than a 10 yr olds, lost count of how many times he failed to deliver a decent cross!
Motherwell are sh!!te and they've beaten us twice now, IMO it's because of our lack of an attacking threat rather than them being worth a sook!"The power of accurate observation is frequently called cynicism by those who don't have it" - George Bernard Shaw.

Better team but not enough creativity especially in wide areas but we know that already. Good performances from Foster, Robertson and Craig for me. Nichol gave the team much better balance by playing Maybury and moving Stevenson to left midfield. Whoever comes in has a decent squad but we need someone to partner Heff up front and a fit Harris. A new wide player in the window too as Zoubir has no pace and Handling looks out of the picture.

Would much rather a youth player came in with a point to prove instead of Dumbledore. Cummings step up

I think -like everyone else in the squad - needs to be given some slack and breathing space while we discover what a new manager can get out of them.

Unlucky the last 10/15 minutes I thought as we pushed up, great save from Heff at the death sums up our luck.
Motherwell irritate me with their constant moaning about non existent fouls, they were certainly hanging on at the end.
Still loads of work to do and I would like to see a few changes but we will just have to wait and see what happens.

I have no problem with the passing game - I love it - but you need to mix it up a bit. Was delighted to see Robertson run at them in the first half. And how many screamers from outside the box did Liam Craig score when at St Johnstone. Wish he'd have more of a go.

We were the better side in the opening match too but when you cannae defend a simple ball over the top... The laddie nearly scored an identical one today.

So I see after 12 games James Collins has became the latest scapegoat
How was Sparky after 12 games btw?

Today was an improvement I'd say, tried to get the ball down and play. Unlucky to get beat I think. Lewis Stevenson was our best player today, really impressed in midfield.

There was no real cutting edge but the team had a better balance to it and there were encouraging signs of improvement.

Craig screwed up plenty today, but I don't see him getting much abuse? Oh, forgot he did have one shot on target, he must be a superstar!!
I ain't a Stevenson fan, but the amount of times he gets singled out by the Hibs armchair masses just shows how much they don't know about football!

That's it. He's poor going forward and never a wide midfielder.
