Outstanding comeback win for the Bears against the Vikings earlier.
Really looking forward to the Manning bowl shoot-out!Madness, as you know, is a lot like gravity. All it takes is a little push.

I'm considering grabbing three hours sleep now and two after the game. Alternatively just recording it, avoiding the internet tomorrow and watching it as-live tomorrow afternoon.

. Also quite pessimistic, due to our weak play on both the offensive and defensive lines last week. We need a massive improvement tonight, Cliff Avril needs a big game at DE on his debut and no more stupid penalties please...

Sounds like an old school performance. Defence, running game and Sherman shutting down Boldin to 7 yards receivingalways love to see Harbaughs face when he loses.

Great Weekend. Saints and Hibs win.
The saints did well to win a game that we looked like losing. A bit like the patriots always seem too.
Alot of NFC teams lost this week which is always good.
12 days until I leave for New Orleans!

I think the 49ers will struggle this season against teams with a genuine shutdown corner like Sherman (or Peterson at Arizona or Revis or either of those Bears CBs). Except for Boldin I dont think the 49ers have that many genuine threats in the passing game, until Crabtree comes back or they get a young player breaking through. Keep Boldin quiet and you're halfway there.

moment of the week for me was Arizona cornerback Patrick Peterson lining up on an offensive play, taking the ball from Palmer and throwing a nice pass to the wide receiver to go 1 for 1

Some good games on the cards today. Falcons and Dolphins sticks out for me as I want to see how well Miami manage against quality opposition! Also want to see Stafford and tear this suspect Redskins defence apart (purely from a fantasy perspective
)

Washington Detroit should be a good one, and massively important for the 0-2 Redskins. RG3 doesn't look comfortable at all on that knee.
