Loving the meltdown of the Yams. But I doubt if any Yam involved in FoH will object to them funding administrators. If they don't get money in rapid then it liquidation. If FoH can keep them afloat then they have a chance of still being a SPL. So whilst there has been a change of direction by them I doubt they will complain.
True. After all, FoH will have millions to play with, so no problem diverting a small % to cover running costs now before launching their bid to buy the club in a couple of weeks.

Can't help feeling the yam's situation will have a short term negative impact on Hibs. So to do my bit I've just signed up a direct debit for the Hibs youth development fund: http://www.hibernianfc.co.uk/page/Th...,10290,00.html

Edited the post, good thinking, although with your reply they can still see the company name. They probably aren't bright enough to do anything about it though.
FR can edit the quote and it's sorted.

I think your job would be safe for a few years. It takes a while for the penny to drop over there.

Ian Murray MP has admitted that the FoH money could be used as a slush fund to keep the doors open during administration.
But what will they do next week?

Just drove past tyne and theres loads of media vans parked in the main car park so did the obligatory toot toot toot toot toot toot toot toot toot Hibes as I drove past. Then turned onto Gorgie and as driving past the other entrance on Gorgie road, you couldn't make this up, a Hearse was parked right outside the stand , turned and said to the Mrs "how apt is that". Its great days to be a Hibee

Why the **** are they not outside Tynie right now protesting, aiming to raise money, contacting entrepreneurs associated with Hearts, even baking some cakes right now?

Look back to Hands off Hibs, fan power found a buyer for us and helped keep Mercer at bay.

The administrator has said that they are in total dire straits, yet they're still going on about how they'll pump us at Tynie, 5-1 big team wee team etc. How much more blatant does it have to be, without a minor miracle their club won't see the summer out?

I really want to see one last derby for us to have a pop at Arbroath's 36-0 record, they're not exactly playing their part!
Money for Nothing you might say.

Lets face it, the Yams are goosed. This is just good money ager bad, just as it was with the so called share issue, ST sales and bake sales. All funds are being diverted to pay wages of the players, staff and now the admins. None of it is being used to do what they need at this stage, pay off their debts and tax bills. The Lith Admins have no affinity with the club and will be seeking full value for creditors which will likely involve the sale of Tynecastle at best commercial value -not some knock down fire-sale price that FOH might want.

The sooner the Admins come clean about this the sooner everyone can get on with new fixture lists and applications for Newco. IMHO Hearts will not be playing football next season.

But they wont start collecting money until August, and wont know how much they actually have until that date.

I think the administrator would struggle to keep the club going for 6 weeks on the basis that there may (or may not) be an undefined amount of money available for running costs.

Jeez guys, slow down, I went to Ascot yesterday & its taken me 2 hours this morning to catch up, but as Steve Tyler sang, I don't want to miss a thing!!
    Couple of things;
    1. Its as bad a situation as I've ever come across!! this from Bryan Jackson, the guy who's currently handling the Pars!! As I posted a couple of days ago I think BDO will stick their head round the door, say WTF & bolt for liquidation.
    2. On an even happier note doesn't Bryan Jackson look like an undertaker??!! Could someone ( Steve? ) with more IT skills than me please do the necessary amendments to his pic? Possibly a new avatar!
I was just about to post the exact same thing!

BDO hosting a press conference at 5pm tonight apparently. I reckon there will be more than a few sphincters twitching on Planet Yam after Bryan struts his stuff.

I don't venture over to the dark side but what is the general consensus from our brain dead neighbours about the begging bowl coming out again? Are they falling for it again?

Because they are far too busy banging on about 5-1, 1902, big team wee team etc.

Rod does it to us every year. They get BDO to do it, a top five accounting firm.

On a related/unrelated note I will pay diamonds to the person that can get me the details of the £500 per month pledgers. I am working on behalf of African royalty and have a business proposal they may be interested in.

He's in tonight's EEN, among other things talking about "four credible bidders" for the Yams.
